The caller, Out of area ( displayed as ID on our phone ),  (805) is our area code. called us @10:49, 12/17/2014.
It did leave message. When I returned the call, a male message : " The number you dialed is not allocated.".
Caller: Out of area ( 805-649-7840. ) I reported it to  FTC ( www.donotcall.gov. )

Called twice, left no message.

A/C maintenance sales call.  I asked them to not call me any more and I received 2 more calls from them that same day.

The more complaints filed, the bigger the fine will be when the FTC finally gets around to tracking them down.

Better idea... Hey FTC:  Why not offer 50% of the fine be given to anyone who goes to the trouble to track these guys down and forwards info to you?  So $5k fine, I get  $2.5K

Received a call with No ID and no Message. Called it back from a different line and heard "The number you have dialed is unallocated". Number is now blocked.

Did not answer. No message left.

I have been getting a call from this number repeatedly no messagewhen I call back it says it is not a designated number another scam apparently

sick and tired of 17 to 18 calls a day and yet we can't do anything about these unwanted calls time telephone company takes over or maybe time for them to lose the business we pay them for unlisted numbers and yet get bombarded with unwanted calls!

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
