"Dennis" called to collect a judgment from me. Left a long vm threatening me with the law coming to get me if I didn't pay up. Yet another brainless twit looking to scare people into paying money for nothing.

How unfortunate that people can just call and leave threatening messages

Received a call and message was left from "Dennis Green" that threatened us with legal action if we did not call him immediately.

I just got the same call an hour ago.  Thank you for your posts about this scam.

Threatened that not returning his call was considered disobeying a federal court magistrate.
So sad that he can scare some people, probably elderly.

What a Joke.  Also threatened that not returning the call was considered disobeying a federal court magistrate. However didn't say why or provide any details as to what the issue was.  Too bad these scammers will actually find someone who will believe what they are saying and call them back and provide either info, or money to "resolve" their issue. Here's hoping he/they get hit by a bus first!

Just got the same call in NJ---when I returned the call, I revealed no info, but asked what we are to do, and "Dennis" hung up.  Face it, you would never get a call from anyone from The Treasury Department

Got the same threatening call.  The caller said not returning his call would be considered disobeying a federal court magistrate but didn't give any other information and the connection was not good.

Got the same threatening call from James Smith.  This is so true you would never get a call from anyone from The Treasury Department. Don't be fooled.

Someone claiming to be Robert James from the IRS left a voicemail for my boss' wife claiming there was a warrant out for her arrest. My boss returned the call, and he said the guy that answered said his name was Robert James and that his wife owed taxes from several years ago.  I paid for a PeopleFinder Report and found this number listed for a Richard James Smith and Penelope Lynn Smith in California.

Received a call from a "Dennis Gray" threatening enforcement action in a legal matter involving the US Treasury.  When I called back and questioned why he was calling he requested my name and I said you have my number, he asked for my name again. I told him I was not going to give it to him, he had my number.  He hung up on me.

Received a message from this # an hour ago, with the number to call back and the guy's name being Dennis Green or Gray, some bogus info about ignoring the call would lead to being called before a magistrate and brought up on charges.  Claimed it's in regards to a treasury fund.  I'm not that gullible.  Complete scammer.

Got a similar call. Wish that I could castrate the guy.

At least if he were castrated, he might have a more pleasant sounding voice.

got the same message. clearly he is out to make some $ on some poor unsuspecting elderly resident.  so sad. :(

Received 2 calls today from this guy.  Said his name was Dennis Quaid. Left messages stating "this call needs your serious attention.  Ignoring this will be an initial attempt to avoid appearance before a magistrate judge and grand jury for a criminal offense............executed by the US Treasury. We advise you to cooperate to help us and help you"......Sounded like a recording with a lot of echoing.  The caller ID said Simi Valley,CA.

Just received the same message.  The voice was threatening but he didn't even know my name.  All the details agree with those of the other commentators.

Same message as everyone else call from Dennis Grey.  He was very hard to understand.  I called back several times that they keep hanging up on me.  I wanted to play with them.

Had at least 2 messages from same caller today.  Idiotic, but they are playing the numbers as some people will call back and possibly get scammed.  They like to prey on the elderly.
