I have a business and answered b/c I thought is was a customer.  Person identified himself as calling from Calif. Energy Solutions. Sounded like a boiler room. I just hung up. Blocked the sequence of numbers starting with 805-848-5XXX.

Answered call no one there then they hung up

Just called - we have caller id so we did not answer. They left no message so it was a scammer.

Solar energy company - informed the caller that they had called a "do not call" number and told them not to call again. The caller had the audacity to argue with me over whether my number was in fact on the registry. As if that will endear me to want to do business with them?

Caller Id listed as "California".
No msg left.

This number calls us twice a day and when I answer, no one is there and then the line goes dead. When I call it back, I get a recording stating it is a Verizon wireless number that is no longer in service.

Did not answer. No message left.

This scam solar energy telemarketer(as identified by others) phoned today, in hot pursuit of my wallet, but got no further than the answering machine.  Could be a former Solyndra executive.  Isn't $500 million from the taxpayers enough already?

Answered the call as it appeared to be local. The woman asked to speak to my husband or me. I said they were not available and I asked who she was. She then asked why they were not available. She finally said she was calling from California Energy Solutions. I told her we were on the "Do Not Call List" and to remove our number. She called me rude! I told her she interfering and intruding on my privacy. She then started to lecture me that her service was "MANDATED BY THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND THAT EVERYONE HAD TO COMPLY".  I told her she was lying and I hung-up.

This scam solar energy telemarketer(as identified by others) phoned again today, just 1 month and 20 days since the previous call.  The caller got no further than the answering machine, but did not leave a message.  According to www.411.com this is a cellular number in Bakersfield.  Could it be a former Solyndra executive looking for the next paycheck?  Isn't $500 million from the taxpayers enough already?

I have an unlisted telephone number and a few years ago put my phone number on the FCC “Do Not Call” (DNC) list. Soon after this I started getting 5 to 10 calls a day from telemarketers/scammers. I also discovered the FCC is clueless or helpless on how to enforce the list. After doing some research and reading the 800notes comments I discovered why. The telemarketers actually use this same list to call us!!! They realize the FCC will not, or cannot, stop the calls so why not use the list? The head of the FCC in charge of enforcing the list is Thomas Edgar Wheeler. Before his FCC position Mr. Wheeler worked as a lobbyist for the cable and wireless industry. He was appointed by President Obama to run the agency in 2013. Many people at the time expressed concern over Wheeler for the position due to his history of lobbying for industry. So don’t question why you are getting these annoying calls as long as Mr. Wheeler is in charge of enforcing the list. If you are really unhappy with the annoying calls then write to your congressman, senators, news agencies, 60 minutes, etc. and let's get rid of Mr. Wheeler another do nothing, worthless, government employee.

The caller, CALIFORNIA ( displayed as ID on our phone .), called us @ 12:58 noon, 07.09.2015. We opted not to answer , so the actual caller will not get credit or pay from employer.
Few minutes I returned the call hiding my number. A lady message ( Verizon Wireless ?? ) indicated the number" been disconnected or?...etc.).

According www.800notes.com above, this unwated number been used to call people randomly since 09.05,2014.
Caller: CALIFORNIA?

Get this call often. Some sort of a scam. I don't answer anymore.
