Some heating and cooling company.  They call to set up your annual inspection and duct cleaning.  Just a scam to get you to sign up for their service.  

This number (805) 849-4270  has a caller I.D. V5121900340000725850  so, I answered,  Hi V, ver are you calling vrom?

Called me several times,  and I asked for them not to call me. The guy on the phone then offered me my address, and said that they would be "visiting me" if I did not sign up for the service, and would be calling me constantly.

Bad guys. They don't even offer their business name.

Called me 33 times today. Local detectives are looking into the caller as Verizon no longer offers call block services.

Verizon does indeed have call block services, and it seems to work.

Detectives in TO are interested in these guys, located in Atascadero, for harassing local citizens. Phone is an unlisted number, and they seem to have lots of personal information on their "clients". The FCC has some interest as well.

More as it develops.

Have gotten 2 calls from this number on my cell yesterday and today. No msg left. Have added them to my "Spam" contact in my phone so I know not to answer.

I received a call from them earlier but did not answer.  They called again just now and I answered the phone.  They asked for me by name and when I asked who they were, they hung up.

Spoof number, no longer in service.  Caller ID says "California Call".  There's a dead giveaway it's a scammer.  Said he was from "The Right Choice Heating & Air", wanted to service heating and air, blah blah blah.  I asked how they had our name, and address (which was alarming) when we're unlisted.  The guy said "not to be smart about it" but there is no such thing really as having an unlisted number.  Oh, so perhaps the FCC might be interested in how you feel it's ok to violate FCC Truth in Caller ID act and...he hung up.
