Ripping people off is not good at all. Stop it!!

Caller said he was with the US government and I was approved for a $5,000 grant. They said it was being deposited into my bank account in 2 hours. When asked how they got my information, they said they have all my information and they can verify with me. I hung up.

I'm not sure who this is, but whenever I check the voicemail, there is a beep and then it hangs up.  I do not want solicitors calling my cell phone.

This number called me, and said they were from the US Government. Man sounded very obviously middle eastern and I couldn't understand him so I just hung up.

Just got a call from this number and went to the voice mail with no message. Didn't recognize it so I didn't pick up.The internet is very useful to find out what these calls are about. Tired of these calls even if my number is on a no call list.... sigh...

I saw it on my ID caller, did not recongize the number. Beep once and they hang up. Left no message. Iam on the no call list.

A middle eastern guy saying he had my $5000 grant money that was free and I didn't have to pay it back. RED FLARE!!! I asked why I was getting it. He said cause I pay my taxes & bills on time to which I laughed. When I told him the US Gov. doesn't hand money out for paying your bills he told me to shut up and started calling me names. I won't repeat them here. He continued to call me names then threated to show up at my house and told me my address then hung up.

Beeped once and he hung up. Why would he do that?

middle eastern dude strong accent and a very poor phone connection.....said His name was Mike Williams and  He was with Health and Human Services...We was eligable for a $5000 grant......asked what We would buy with it....I said prolly a car....then laughed...asked Me to confirm the address they had was correct.....and asked if we paid taxes last year......then asked where We bamked......and what Our account number was....I laughed and said "I knew You was gonna ask that" and hung up......barely 5 minutes later He called again....said hello....We talked a little while ago....I said uuh huh,,,,, He says I need Your bank acct number.... I said what part of NO do You not understand?? there aint no way Im giving You ANY kinda number so Ya can just forget that....he then asked if I hd a savings account "with just a small amount of money in"....with that I repeated what I had just said........not giving ANY numbers....he says ok good bye.....I then said hey wait....We are on the national do not call list....DO NOT EVER CALL HERE AGAIN....then I said thank You very much.....bye bye....and hung up

Same thing, some a hole trying to get my bank account number.  I've had these several times, going to the police to do anything hasn't worked.  Very frustrating.

I got the same call and he kept calling me. I thought about then decided to go online and check the actually US Health and Human Services website. I saw there were no grants being given out of personal finances. I'm going to call the HHS personnel and tell them that their name is being used to conduct criminal activity.
