This number called for the first time about two weeks ago. A guy asked me about a charity I donated to. I asked who is calling and he said it's telefund calling on behalf of the charity. I said I am donating only directly to the charity and hung up. Now they call twice a day every day. I don't answer and they hang up on my answering machine.

I get calls, but I don't answer calls I don't recognize. Whoever this is; they don't leave a message. I only use a cell phone, if it's telemarketing, that is illegal. FCC rules state no telemarketing calls to cell phones, it's not necessary to be on the 'do not call' list; it's been illegal for years due to having to pay for incoming and outgoing calls.

I got a call from this number today - 805-897-1183 - and they didn't leave a message. Like Lois above, the call was to my cell phone.

I get calls every day on my phone from this number.  It says Telefund and I don't answer.  They are persistent as they've been calling for months!  I have no idea what charity they represent nor do I care!  I just ignore them.

Two calls from this number today within a half an hour time span.  No message left and now, from reading above, I know why.  Thanks to all of you for posting.

I get three to four calls each day from Telefund. They are annoying.

I have been getting a call from this number pretty much every day - sometimes twice a day - for the past two or three weeks. It's getting pretty annoying. I've never picked up, and they hang up before my voice mail comes on. Maybe I should pick up at some point and they'll start leaving me alone? That would be nice.

They call everyday and sometimes a few times per day.  Very, very annoying!!!

They've called twice a day for a week. Caller ID on my cell phone shows the number but no name. I just ignore it.

Someone keeps calling me and hanging up when I answer.  Now I just let it go to voice mail.  It's annoying since they call a couple times a day.  It started about 1 week ago

I recieved six seperate calls from them last night over the span of three hours.  They have been calling for awhile, at least a month.  I never answer the phone, especially after looking it up online.  One thing I will suggest is, if you are registered on the DO NOT CALL list, either home or cell you can report them.  Although they may not stop them from calling you immediately it is filed and investigated.  The more people who complain about a particular company, the better the chances of it being resolved.

I don't answer calls like this normally, because I know it's some nonprofit or something.  This one has been calling multiple times per day, so I finally answered it to see if they would remove me from their list.  This company could be calling for any number of fund-raising causes, but today, it was the Hillary Clinton campaign.  I told them I do support her and have sent money but won't ever do it again if they don't take me off their call list immediately.  They were polite in response, so maybe they will.

These people have called me 12 times in 7 days. I might pick up the phone next time they call. They do not leave a message. Now my interest is peaked.

I'm getting the same thing as everyone else. They call twice a day, everyday.  It's on my cell phone which annoys me even more than usual. Especially since I never give that number out to businesses at all so I have no idea how they got it. I'm on all of the Do Not Call lists too.

Same thing - they call and call and call and call...  They never, ever, ever leave a message.  These people must call about 5 - 6 times a day almost 7 days a week.  I can't remember when they didn't call!

I got a call on 11/25/07 saying he was Mark calling on behalf of Hillary Clinton for President.  He knew my full name.  I told him it wasn't a good time and got a 2nd call from this number today.
