Called my cell phone.  Call from TX, USA.  Voicemail said his name was Eric Foster and I should not ignore or disregard this phone call. I must either call him or have my lawyer call.  If I didn't the only thing he could do was wish me good luck.  Seems it's an IRS or police scam.  Since I don't owe any taxes or have any legal troubles I ignored the call and am sure I'll have much better luck than if I'd returned the call.

I had the same call today on my cell. I filed a report with the FTC.

Received the same call from same # - caller had very poor language skills and suspect fraud. This should be looked into.

I got the same call from Eric Foster. He said he was from the IRS internal revenue and said his name was officer Eric Foster and the number to his division was 8064143052. He almost sounded like Kermit the frog. And he didn't even specify who the message was for. He just said "you". Weird.

I called back on Skype - so to keep my phone number from being recorded.  I spoke to a different person, who said that Eric was ou for the afternoon.  They said that they are a company that works with the IRS on deliquency, but when I pressed him, he wouldn't give me any specifics and finally hung up with me - refusing to give me any information on why this group - working for the IRS would not supply any data.

There is an IRS site/link that you can report these issues to.  I would recommend reporting as many as possible.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Wow just had this call and he said he was an officer. I am on a weekend relaxing trip and get this!

He said he was an officer BallGeneral is What I could understand with his broken English. Have me or my attorney call him and if I didn't,he wishes me luck. The situation will unfold.

I received the exact same call today from the same number with the same message.  Obviously this idiot does not know that I work with Judicial System every single day for almost 20 years.  If they are going to try to scam someone they should at least do their homework first.

The same dude just called me now.

I got a call from this number last week.  Officer Paul Tanner or Jenner, really couldn't understand, said at this very second me or my retained attorney of record should contact him at 8064143052.  Said it was time sensitive and I must call right away or the best of luck.  Well, I called back even though I know it was scam to see who they were and file a complaint.  I was told I am in default of my taxes.

Received call from this number on a cell line, same Eric Foster but claimed my Warranty in my vehicle was up and gave options to renew. All automated.

Received a call from this number about a week ago and then again today. I called back and got "Jacob" with "degree search" who told me I filled out an application and left some blanks and wanted information. Be careful and don't give them anything, it was a very sketchy deal.
