got a call from this 806-416-0901 dont know them or the number but they r mean they even talk mean to me

received a call from 806-416-0901 they said they were from a lawyers office and they were going to  charge me with three federal crimes for fraud about a pay day loan i trayed to get. i never tryed to get a loan so i said go ahead i will see you in court. i looked the phone number on the net and found it was from y max communication and it is a scam as i thought

i recieved the same call as gene up above 3 fed crimes only we got as far as saying in the end my cost would be 17k to 18 k but her would settle for 950.00.. i have recorded some of the messages he left me in which he ised very threatening tones and very vulgar language and im taking them to the FBI

They called me today threating to have me arrested in a hr if I don't.  Send them a settlement for a loan. Ok whtever. And he was rude and mean, said tht it would cost me 18k if it went to court, and the restitution amount was 784.00. Damn scammers. I wish they would stop. Don't threatin to come to my work or my home and have me arrrested. In federal court. Then he said I had to pay the amount with a vrn fom cvs. Ok whtever. I am sick of them calling me every 5 min or 10.

They just ccalled me again this time the guy said his name is steve, some kind of a federall attorney it needs to stop now. Help!! Now they said tht their sending paperwork to my corporate office where I work. And tht I need to get an attorney.

got a call from 806-416-0901 saying the same thing that i was going to be charged with  fraud about a pay day loan....bah bah bah they are so stupid didnt even have my right address and thought i was going to submit anyway i look up their phone number on here while they were on the phone. so once i saw that it was a scam
i told the man on the phone that i know its a scam and i pay my bills and that his number is all over this page and he aint getting anything from me and while he was screaming at me i hung up on his sorry a** and blocked his number

I received a telephone call on my cell phone at work, which I didn't answer because I was speaking to one of my collegues.  Two seconds later the same number called me on my work line.  The man, who was a foreigner and didn't speak great english, identified himself as Simon Morgan from Allen Ritchie and Associates, a law firm.  He called me all kinds of horrible names, wouldn't even tell me what he was calling about when I asked him.  He threatened to get a hold of my employer to charge me with federal crimes and he also threatened to freeze my bank account.  The scary part is he had all the names and numbers to my employer and bank account information.  He wouldn't give me a physical address, email or website of his company.  I asked for some type of paperwork so I could understand what he was calling me about.  He was using the number 909-999-8231 which when I did a reverse directory look up, was in Rialto, CA.  I also looked up the law firm name in the BBB and couldn't find it.  When I tried to call the number back it went into a message machine.  I'm actually scared of these people.

The caller actually used the telephone number 909-999-8231.  This person threatened to freeze my bank account, garnish my wages and turn me into the federal bureaus.  I don't even know what I did.  I looked at the possibility of getting a pay day loan and filled out an application, but I decided to not go through with it and survive on no money for two weeks.  Now I have received several threatening phone calls from what sounds like the same guy, only he identifies himself from several different law firms and never has the same telephone number.

It's really scary.  I'm a good person and work hard and don't deserve this crap, and harrassment at my job.

Never pay any caller unless they MAIL proof that you do owe a debt and that they have the legal right to collect said debt.  If a caller refuses to mail documentation, then per the FDCPA, they are owed nothing.  It is illegal to threaten people in an attempt to intimidate them into paying an alleged debt.  Debt collectors cannot freeze your bank account, "turn you into the federal bureaus", nor can they garnish your wages unless they sue you and they win a judgment in court.  

Report the callers to the FTC, FBI, Dept of Justice and your state's Attorney General.  Record all calls these scammers make to you and advise them that you're doing so because your attorney (even if you don't have one) is going to be filing a lawsuit against THEM for multiple violations of the FDCPA.

Yes, these callers are scary - that's because they've found that it's easier to get people to pay for bogus debts if they threaten them enough.  Don't pay them a dime.  Read about the FDCPA and learn your rights as a consumer.

Person name John Michael, but they change their names scams, do not send them any money whatsoever.

This Alex person called me @ 7am I am very disabled so i'm in bed until at least 10 if not 11am so I got woken up to this is alex from blah blah blah law firm and you are being charged with 3 federal crimes as well as being reported to the home land security for blah blah blah if you do not hold and speak to my representative of your case then I will come fXXk you up I know where you live and I will Fxxk you up you Fxxkety Fxxk Fxxk and you will be in Fxxking trouble and in Fxxking Federal Prison the rest of your life..........etc......     What a way to get woken up.......I don't understand how a disabled person who stays at home most all the time could get into this much trouble for what???? I also could not believe that some foreign person whom barely speaks English called me @ 7am and yelled at me these terrible things needless to say I reported the call to my metro blocker service and thru them a complaint to the FTC.  

You might also want to invest in a call blocking device for these kind of calls. There really seems to be a lot of these extortion scams going on!  Here is where they need to be reported as well as your phone company:

John Michael from (806) 416-0901 called several times today, I did not answer. He left a message that I or my attorney should call him back by tomorrow or I am going to be in serious trouble.  I have blocked this number.

I just received two calls today from 909-999-7794 in Rialto, CA. I didn't answer both times. When I listened to the voicemails he left he said he was from American Law Associates and that my name, social security number (which he then said aloud), and address were associated with crimes of fraud. He told me I needed to call him back immediately before he would send police officers to my front door to execute an arrest warrant he would issue. He had an indian (foreign) accent. I'm glad I looked up the number, I was actually kind of concerned about the calls especially since he repeated my social security number in both voicemails!!! DONT ANSWER THESE INSANE PHONE CALLS!!!!
