just called 8:25a, local number so I picked up, no response.  God I hate these BS calls

At 8:57 a.m. HST on 10/31/2014 got this call originating from Honolulu, Hawaii to my home phone in Keaau, Hawaii.  No one on the line.  Figured it was a robot call with a political spiel.

Got one in Kona. Must be making the rounds.

Me too.  No one on the line - dead air for about a minute.

I checked this number in spokeo.com.  Their check revealed very little, only it's a "male", and showed the location in Waipio Peninsula on the edge of a squarish dirt field near Waipio Point Access Road.  No coordinates are given, but it's on a line below and east of Keka'a Point.  8th Ave in Ewa points directly across to it.  This may be only some sort of relay point, because spokeo.com shows the carrier as MCImetro Access Transmission Services LLC dba Verizon Access Transmission Services filed in New Jersey.  

I suppose we can file a complaint with Verizon.

Just got the same kind of call a couple minutes ago in Hauula.  No one on line.

Yeah, phone just rang for me at 8:10AM on 11/1/14.  I never pick up the phone, I watch the caller ID entry and if they don't leave a message, then f#@k them for making these stupid calls.  Too many scams going on, even if it might be a political call, then why wasn't a message left and recorded?  I'm in Honaunau on Big Island.  People should never answer their phone when they don't recognize the number or no voicemail left.  Same thing for me, no voice or reaction for about 30 seconds.  

rec this phone call this am. Answered no one on.  Tried calling however busy signal

I'd like to find out who called me at 8am on my day off!
