Received a call from "World Talent". A woman asked if I know kids aged 3 to 12. I asked her how she got my number and she said it's randomly dialed. I then asked not to be called again and hung up.

When I googled the number I found their address:

Yesterday evening, my cell phone rang.  I was out in the yard.  Mother answered my cell phone. A lady saying she was calling from World Talent, asked if my mom knew any kids aged 3 to 12?  She said yes, she has a grandson, 6 yrs. old.  My mom asked how she got my son's cell phone number, the lady said it was randomly dialed.  My mom, said the lady was nice and said they were looking for talented kids to become stars.  My mom ended up giving her confidential information, full name of child, address, phone number.  The lady gave her an address to attend a session on Saturday.  When I did a google search, it showed World Talent company on Kapiolani Blvd.  When I called the phone number, 808-946-1442, it was hotline with a recording...  (WGI-Fame Hotline) .........  I am very pissed off with this company and their sneaky telemarketing tactics.  I will try contacting them and the local BBB.....

I got a call in my cell phone from this number at 7 pm.  It must be this company

they called me.  I didn't answer and they never left a message.  I googled them and found this site.  I say they should be organ donors.

I had a missed call from this number on my cell at 6:30pm. No message. I googled the number.  I can't believe they would f***ing ask for the full name of a child(from second post).  Maybe the lady is working for some creepy guy trying to do who knows what with these kids.

Just now I received the call from "World Talent Company" which appearing the number of 808-946-1442. The man said the company live in 1347 Kapiolani Blvd. # 403 Honolulu, HI 96814. Invite me and my child to attend a party. I am so confused. I asked him where did he get my number, he did not answer and changed words and said tomorrow afternoon. Then I said I am not interested and hung up.

I just got a call from these jokers on my cell phone yesterday (6/4/08) afternoon. It was a missed call and they didn't leave a voicemail. I called back because I'm also have a vehicle ad right now and thought it may have been an interested caller. No, it was World Talent. I told them I wasn't interested and asked them how they got my number. They said that they had a batch of the first 3 digits of phone numbers, and the last 4 were randomly dialed by their computers. My brother who has nearly the same number as me but one digit off (family plan) got a call from them too.

I was surprised (but I guess I shouldn't be) that when I typed in their phone number, I found this website. Just wanted to share my story.

caller id shows that the call from the 946-1442 came at 3:59 p 6/9/08.  i'm usually with my phone so i wouldn't know who calls, but they didn't leave a message.  i was curious to know who this was, so i did what everyone else who got this call before me, googled the number and came to find out that others are being called.  thank goodness for id caller.  let the voice mail pick it up.

thanks for the heads up y'all!  i don't usually answer calls from numbers i don't recognize.  glad i didn't answer this one, sounds pretty creepy.  any stranger asking for information on a child should be classified as a "child predator".

I just got a call from these guys.  When asked how they got my number, the girl replied that it was a random dialing.  Don't know if I believe her, but they shouldn't be calling cell phones, it uses up minutes.  This is the 2nd time they called me.

I received a call from these people this evening--I'm travelling at the moment and am overseas, when they realized that my cell phone was on 'world connect' and they were being charged international rates if they were to leave a message i guess they hung up.
I've had missed calls from these jokers b4 and never returned the call.

i called them because they were on my local radio station and they said through the radio that you get to be on the disney channel shows or movies and i have an apointment with them saturday. should i go?

Got the same call as others just tonight at 6:35pm EST. Rang just a few times, then hung up. Rather annoying. I never answer my cell phone unless I know who it is.

I saw this # on my husbands work cell phone and asked him about, he said he dose not remember. so I looked it up, and same thing, world talent, thats funny becouse my children are all grown up?
