- MarcyGot this call from 808-964-5216 at 4 AM in the morning. The call has an 808 area code which is Hawaii and I also live in Hawaii, Caller I.D. says US Gov. Post Office. I did not answer and when I listened to the voice mail there was a guy with an Indian accent just saying " Hello, Hello, Hello?". That was obviously NOT the US Gov. Post Office.
- Caller: not sure
- I don't want your tech supportI live in hawaii and also received a call from this same number and it is listed as US GOVT Post Office. Total spam. They've been calling for months from different phone numbers.
If you say you have a Mac the script changes.- Caller: Windows technical department but it's bs
- AnonymThis one says US Post Office on caller ID, guy with heavy accent says it is about my computer. I told him that unless he is calling from the US Post Office, to not call again, and I hung up.
- Caller: US Post Office
- Crime Watch in KonaNine calls in past five days. Misrepresenting as Microsoft representative. Also "breather" calls. These criminals should be stopped before they do serious financial harm to our community. Our police department suggests do not answer calls from this number. For breather calls, the police suggest this is harassment, and the recipient of such calls can call their local police department dispatch center and request an officer to investigate.
- Caller: U.S. Post Office
- Still being hassled in Honolulu| 1 replyThese creeps keep calling me (caller ID is US GOVT Post Office) several times a day. I actually think they compromised my computer yet I don't think the police dept will take an active role to stop them. Let's get their identity out in the open and stop them.

- CWG40 replies to Still being hassled in HonoluluNo one can get their identifies; they are scammers located in India. As such they are beyond the reach of any US law. Never allow anyone access to your computer.
- Irritated in MililaniWe have been receiving calls from this number for weeks now. My mother answered once, because it said US GOVT Post Office on the caller ID. When she heard the heavily accented voice, she pretended that she did not speak English. She made up a string of Japanese words. This threw the caller off, but we still receive calls at least two times a day from this number. Something should be done, either by the USPS or the phone company. It is so irritating.
- Caller: US GOVT Post Office
- mjgovednikI got the phone call. TWO DAYS in a row.
It is NOT the US GOVERNMENT calling.
It is a scam
808-964-5216 - A| 1 replyGot this phone call JUST NOW (7:06 PM) and as I have read from previous comments, this was an 808 area code, I also live in Hawaii. It says "US GOVT POST OFFICE" - yeah right. They had called earlier too and just hung up. When I had answered just now, heard some kind a sound in the background then the guy said "Hi, My name is...I'm from Windows (something) Center..." I hung up after that because 1) he had an Indian accent, 2) why would Windows be calling me if the CALLER ID SAYS "US GOVT POST OFFICE" and 3) It doesn't take a genius to conclude that these people calling are scammers or up to something suspicious.
So stupid, just hang up when they call!- Caller: US GOVT POST OFFICE

Caller ID said US GOVT Post Office so I answered thinking this was legit. Voice on phone asked about my computer. Naturally knowing the U.S. Post Office would not care about my computer late at night, I hung up. How do they forge a local 808 area code and say there from a U.S. Federal Agency?

Um ... we are not going to tell you how they do it.
