Who is this? Thought it was an odd #.

  Got this same call today along with one from (810) 224-5027, ... same "boiler-room" Telemarketers (TM's). They call "on behalf of" whomEver will pay them for their questionable, harassing and annoying "services". It's just a Big S-C-A-M !! Do NOT even answer them! Just pick-up to stop the ringing and then IMMEDIATELY hang-up on them, do NOT say anything at all! "Rude", you say? THEY are the rude ones. You do NOT have to be nice to them at all. YOU own your phone, Not them. Besides, you're just breaking the connection.
  You can also call directly to the businesses that use these TM's and let them know you will be boycotting their business and you will be getting all your friends to do the same, because THEY have hired these annoying scammers to harass us.
  We have a program on our computer (PhoneTray Free v1.39) that logs and handles all our incoming calls the way We decide. They are both now on our "Privacy Manager" list, along with more than 300 other numbers, to be 'managed' by our 'puter. They won't get through any more so we don't have to be bothered, at least by them, ever again. I just love technology when it can be used against these pitiful parasites that are just wasting good air. Don't you?

Sick & tired of these calls, get several a day from MICHIGAN CAL.  Phone #s are all different !!!!!!!!!

Caller had my name & was asking for donations for a disabled veterans organization. Told her I do not donate money to phone solicitors & wanted off her calling list (I know that's useless to ask but it was worth a try!). She said that with Memorial Day coming up there would be many organizations asking for money. I told her that her's would not be one of them.

You people have to stop answering out of state numbers that you don't recognize. Notice most of them never leave messages???? Charity organizations are allowed to call you, it's not considered telemarketing either. Stop answering the phone!

Just received call from "Brighton, MI".  We never answer phone calls from numbers we do not recognize.  If they really want to talk to us, they'll leave a message (which these kinds of calls never do.)  So annoying, but love my caller id, which even pops up on the TV, so I don't have to get up to look at the phone!

2nd day in a row, some idiots wanting donations for a "breast cancer fund" .. Last night they called at 10pm, tonight at 7.. Told them to take me off their calling list, and they wished me a blessed day...lol

A caller ID with a city and state is a dead giveaway that you don't want to answer the phone. If you don't already have a call blocker, get one and put these crooks out of business.. To program the Digitone call blocker to block everything just program 97#* Next, invite your local area codes,and any individual out of your local area that don't want blocked. We let the first ring through so we can laugh at how many of these creeps call us and get blocked.

Another nuisance spammer probably phishing to find active numbers to sell to other spammers.  To fight these scum you have to take action yourself.....the do not call list is a joke (the FCC and congressional politicians have proven to be lapdogs for big business telemarketers and is now moving to give them and big media priority fast lane access to the internet (at your expense).....the FCC chairman is (surprise) a former telecom lobbyist. If you do not have a call blocking feature (or run out of space), do yourself a favor and get a call blocker, and just plug it in to your phone line.....it will be the best money you ever spent.....lots of them out there, check Amazon,Google and Fleabay.

I get many unwanted phone calls but this one drives me crazy because IF I pick up there is no one there (even if I wait awhile it goes dead)

Take the call, listen to their bull and then report it to your state attorney-general. There is no other way to stop them from calling you.
