Calling me about my credit card debt- BUT I HAVE NEVER HAD A CREDIT CARD!!!

This number just called my cell phone.  When I returned the call just within a few minutes a recording came on that stated "the number has been disconnected".

Just called me. Flint MI number, they left no message and I didn't answer since I have been getting calls like this for 2 weeks from other numbers. I will now save this number as a contact with name "DO NOT ANSWER". My understanding is that numbers like this are computer dialers looking for working numbers. The MT number that calls me is actually routed back to Nigeria so I am positive this is a type of scam. I have reported these unwanted calls every time to the National Do Not Call Registry. https://complaints.donotcall.gov/Mobile/Complaint/ComplaintCheck.aspx   DO NOT ANSWER UNKNOWN NUMBERS! Just got 2 calls from this number today. I did not answer, but called the number back a few minutes later, and got a recording that the # had been disconnected. I've been receiving calls from several weird  numbers lately, and some have left msgs saying they're trying to collect on an internet payday loan. I have never had one of these but I hear this is the newest scam.

feb 24th just got a call they left a message some female saying getting back to me about lowering my morgage payments and credit card payments . i never talked to her before she left a number to call

There's a female from a pre-recorded message who talks about lowering interest rates like she knows you. If you call back the 810, it's not actually disconnected. It's actually their answering machine. They want you to call the number the female gave you (877). I don't know where the 877 message goes to, but the 'I'm sorry' message from the 810 will repeat twice and then disconnect you. I assume it's from this message, after the female voice, that everyone is hearing.

Calls and leaves me "messages" that don't say anything in school. Wth?

Did not leave a message... I never respond to numbers I don't know. decided to google to see where the area code is in case it is in a state where I have family/friends.  instead found this site.

I received an unwanted call stating that I needed their securty system.  I already have one and also have a really big mean dog.  I asked to speak to a supervisor & was told no!  I tried to call the number back to demand to speak to a supervisor to inform them that I am on the National Do Not Call List but the number does not go through.

Does not leave message. I do not know anyone in Michigan.

Received a call that my household had won a free home security system and asked me to press one to get transferred to a representative. I smelled a scam and hung up....guess I was right!
