It looks like this in American Income Life Insurance, in Jeffersonville, IN.  We just got call hangups from this number - to both of our cell phones; one right after the other.  No message.

American Income Life Insurance (812-280-1360) appears to be a false company, committing multiple acts of fraud.  BEWARE!!!

Is this a legitimate company?

Our Union(Teamsters) uses this insurance company for the Life Insurance we are eligible for thru the union. My father had the same policy that was paid upon his death, without any issues.

They left a message -  said they were from American Income . . . ? ? ?

I did not apply for a job there. They called one of my reference people and left them a message. I returned to the call to find out who it was and why they called me. I got voice mail.

Called me today and wanted to talk to me about a job opportunity.  They got my information from Monster jobs.  I was busy at the time and they were to call back as I was really unsure who was calling at the time.  I did not hear back at the specified time.

This Company called me this morning,did not give company name as American Income Life, wanted to know if I was still looking for a job,, I asked if this was a telemarketing job, stated no. I then called back the is America Income life Ins. They had called me before from a Evansville phone no. told me the job would be talking to Union memembers about negotions , I told the lady I had no experiece in that field. Actually the job is selling insurance to union members. They got my info from Indiana Career Connect.

I received an unsolicted call from a Melody Short at this number.   I listened to her spiel and agreeded to come to an interview in Newburg on 5/23/12.  Then I checked out the company online.  I then sent a text message telling them I will not be coming to the interview.  Too many recent, negative reviews of the company.  The call I received was very typical of the the calls other people posted about.  I thank those people for taking the time to post their experience so I didn't spend the gas money to travel an hour to the interview or worse, get involved with this company.

They have called me several times in the last past week.  Way entirely too many people saying they are calling them about a job.  I think it's selling insurance. They got my information from Indiana Career Connect also.  After reading the responses I'm pretty sure this isn't legit and even if it is there's something just not right going on with this "company"

Called and said they received my resume and would like to set up an interview. I DID NOT send them a resume. Crooked telemarketers???

American Income called me and left a message about setting up an appointment for me to come and interview.
I didn't send them a resume or apply for a job there.  I will NOT return the call.

After some research...

The phone number could be spoofed (meaniing: Faked). Sounds like a "Bait & Swicth" tactic. Get you to come to the office or give them your personal info over the phone and then they disappear. As far as them telling you they got your number from somewhere, that is probably untruthful also. Throw-away phones (Tracfones) are not immune.

If the number is unknown, don't answer it. If they left a message, listen to it and then decide if it is legitimate.

Received a call & was asked if I'd received a msg to call someone back.  The guy then gave me a 1-800-441-8808 number to call.  Called it from another phone & it rings into a fax machine.  I'm just curious if this is a scam to get info from the cell - anyone have any ideas on this?  Since a nearby city showed up on the caller id I thought it may be legit.  However, I will no longer answer any unknown numbers - if it's really someone I know, they'll leave a msg!

She called and said i put in a resume for them, which I did'nt, I don't even have a clue what she was talking about and wanted me to come in for a interview and most people who don't do this type of job, liked what they heard and stayed. I told her no, I didn't want to do this. She asked what I would want in salary, told her $45,000 and she said no problem.  I still said no. Scam????

Calls every four days. Same time between 3:00 and 3:40. I just don't answer and they don't leave message.

Called me telling me I put in a resume with them and they had a job opportunity with them. Some girl named "Margarita"??? I never put in a resume and I don't have time to talk to some dumb girl I cant understand on the phone. My take is they lie to people for what I don't know...

They get ur resume fraudulently then they say you sent it to them. They want you to telemarket for them. ITS A SCAM, TELL THEM TO SUCK IT AND HANG UP!

This number called me, said they were 181 (whatever the hell that is) and said that my step dad, Alvin asked them to give me a call. Proceeded to ask, "Did Alvin tell you we were going to call?"  Psht!  I told him the man has been dead for over a year and he needed to lose my number!
