Received 2 calls. No speaking. Quiet. I say hello a couple times then a computer voice says"Good Bye"

This is a SCAM!!! This person sounds like a man from India who claims to be a man named "Jack" calling from the Microsoft Corporation to inform me that my computer has a problem. He called twice in the last 24 hours. The first time I asked him for a number to call back to verify that he was in fact from the Microsoft Corp. and he hung up immediately. Imagine that! The second time, it was the same person. I said that I was having the call traced, and he hung up immediately. Again, no surprise!! I called the number back and got a recorded message that said the number is not in service. It's one of many scams that are out there now. DO NOT give them any of your personal information!!! And make sure to tell people you know who may be vulnerable to such a scam (older individuals, etc).

Calls frequently Jack from Microsoft sounds foreign and wants me to look at my computer because errors have been supposedly been reported from my computer. I always say the same thing that its bs and take us off the phone list and he hangs up.

I get this call several times a day. Just now I answered it. He says hello mom, I said please take my number out of your file, he just hangs up on me.

Frequently calls, I never answer. Most recent @ 7:09 AM on a Saturday.

Likes to call at 7:15 am and then never says anything.

Man with a robotic accent calls and tells me that my computer is infected and that he can help me...since he is from Microsoft and is obviously reading from cue cards.  I mean, c'mon this has to be legit, right?  Anyways, he doesn't realize he called the one person who can refute every scenario they wrote down on their cue cards...a software engineer.  So I have a little fun with him and talk him into tripping over his scripted lines and he gets frustrated and asks, "well I know that your computer is infected and I need you to go to your computer and help me to assist you".  Well this was the exact moment I thanked him for his concern and explained to him that he should try to sell his scam someone else and hung up.  What a dirtbag.

we got the same call,same number, knew it was a scam and hung up. he called back said we had gotten disconnected, I told him are computer was fine, no thank you and hung up. he called again and started yelling at my wife because I hung up on him, she tried to be nice and asked for his number so we could call if there was a problem, and he provided a bogus 800 #. we have gotten the same call every morning at 7:00 a.m. for the last 4 days. we use centurylink who I have contacted their investigative branch who is trying to find out who it is, their # is 800-582-0655. would love to spike 220 volts down the line and fry the chuckle head.

They keep saying that they are calling for Microsoft because there is a problem with my computer. When asked what kind of problem they say it is with my windows an I ask which one because I have dule boot they ca not answer. I had my computer hijacked this summer by people duing the same thing now I ask questions and not getting the right answers. They keep trying to pressure me to log in I cut the call.

My wife has been receiving these calls for weeks from this same person from this same number.  She keeps telling him that she doesn't have one and he says of course you do, I can see it...it has a lot of problems.  I told her the next time he calls to say 'oh, you work for Microsoft too, so do I, maybe I know you...where do you live?'  and see where that goes.   Or if she prefers tell him she has 3 computers, which one is the bad one?

It's the India/Pakistan, Microsoft (I can fix your computer scam).  Have fun yelling at them.

Called 7:30 am. Kept saying good morning honey. Indian accent. Repeated self when I said do not call here at 7:30 in the morning. Just kept saying good morning honey.

I got this call this morning.  I had just turned on my computer.  It has since crashed.

Caller said he was calling from Microsoft about my PC

Folks, I just used a police WHISTLE as soon as the caller said something unintellible, & he went on a tirade in some language other than English!!  Probably cussing me out, after he got his eardrum blown out!!!  HOORAY!!

This has been screwing me all week. Today when he called I screwed with him for 40 minutes telling I was turning it on. Just keep screwing with and he won't call. It was so funny. Family and guests were laughing so hard. I taught him a lesson.
