This is the 3rd in a string of dead calls I've received from related numbers (812-856-3425 & 812-856-3445).

Friday, Feb 12, 2010, 6:29 PM, got a call from: 812.856.3445.  

No response from the caller when I picked up the phone.  Phone lines remained connected, until I hung up.

Same here - this is a list I've kept of all these annoying #'s calling me every night, not answering, and don't exist when I try to call back:

Yeah, I get the same annoying phone calls from the same number. 812 856 3401. They always ask for my parents. And I always tell them the same thing.

I think it's from the IU alumni association asking for a donation

I agree. Probably an IU alumi something or other. They need to stop calling.

Just got a call from them today and they were asking for a donation but I didn't give them anything because it sounded fishy and I don't give my credit card info over the phone. The guy had no way to verify that he was with the alumni association. Glad to see that chances are it actually was them, but you'd think they could provide some proof of who you're handing your info out to.

Called. Left no message. But IU alumni associated makes sense

It's Indiana University Alumni asking for money. After I told them I was still a student and was in need of money myself, they still asked for money. Idiots.

Got a call from 812 856 3445 ... Asked for donations as all above have already mentioned ... started from $50 and reached $20 after being denied continually ... hung up on him ... surprising part though is that the caller had all details about my current address ...

IU Alumni ....Wanting Donations ..Not interested....Sounds Like another scam.

Amazing that colleges have most young people in debt untill age 60 and then they have the nutz to ask for donations.Seriously!!! Most student have already paid thousands per year for 4-5 years to these universities. My college will not get 2 cents from me . When they call I always ask, "You mean the 10K per year I paid you was not enough?'
