- TerskaThese freaking ***holes have called 3 times in one hour after 9 pm....had to block them.
- Georgecalled after 10:00 and didn't answer, no message left either.
- Harry| 1 replyUnbelievable, these people call me several times each day. If you call the number, the message says the voice mailbox for this number has not been set up yet, then it hangs up. My telephone is an old cell phone, cannot block numbers, but luckily, I have not given out the number to anyone that I DO want to hear from, strictly an emergency phone. I get four free number changes a year, so I will just change my number, again, to escape these idiots. Just amazing how they find a number that you have given to no one.
- Call type: Telemarketer

- Amy GBrian from Central Research . . . . .
I foolishly answered because it was a local cell phone. Since I run a charity, I hesitate not to answer local calls.
Next time, it can go to answering machine.- Caller: Central Research
- Call type: Survey
- John Johnsondon't answer when you say hello. Calls several times A day
- Caller: 813 310 9236
- SueChecked caller ID when we got home. No message on answering machine. Called (local phone #). Message that voice mail has not been set up and to try again later. If home, normally I would answer calls within two specific area codes. But after reading previous input, I'm hesitant if I don't recognize the phone # especially if the # comes up on caller ID as "cell phone:" or "our of area" or "caller unknown" or "private caller."
A friend has suggested that with the above mentioned instances, press the "talk" button (on the phone) immediately followed by the "off" button (or whatever you have to disconnect the call). Supposedly the person making the call gets a dial tone and more than likely doesn't call back. And if they do, the # can be blocked.
