Call my cell number did not provide their name or company name. Trying to make bogus claimed trying to scam for money. When asked for name of the caller and what company they are calling from they hang up on me.

Pretended to be IRS Officials. They threatened me that I will go to jail for not responding to the official letters from IRS Department (of course, I didn't receive any letters), and then "giving me last chance" to pay government amount "owed". Amount that i had to pay is $4994, and i had to get cash out of my bank account, go to Nationwide Store, approved by the person on the phone, purchase some vouchers and send vouchers somewhere. While i am doing all that, i had to stay on the phone with that person and i am not allowed to talk to anybody. They didn't ask any personal information this time.
It was very awful, and i hope people who are doing it will get what they deserve

I received a call from this number stating they were calling from the IRS and I should immediately wire them money or I would be arrested.  I notified police of the call.

I got the same.

Called me like 15 time while i'm in class and i couldn't hear what they were saying. He got mad at me and say go to a place with better signal. I told him to suck it since i new it was suspicious since he had a name like John Mill with a noticeable Indian accent

This number (813-398-0913) just called (9 Jun 15 at 09:30) me saying they were Kay (or Kate) Anderson (that's what it sounded like) with the investigating office of the IRS stating I had a federal tax lein, a warrant and other charges that are likely to be pressed against me.

The lady first started off with "this message is from tennant 4" and then went into the IRS stuff.  This person had an obvious Indian (not Native American) accent.  They called twice within a minute.  The first time the number came up, it showed "KJ DSKL" on my caller ID.  The second time, it came up as an unknown number.

Just received the same as DeanH. Women called herself Jessica with an obvious Indian accent. As soon as I mentioned I will wait for the letters in the mail and let my lawyer handle it, she hang up. Who can we report this to?

Got this morning the same call.
I did not get to the point they requested money from me, but told them that to verify this was not scam I needed them to provide my with my SS # and that they needed to talk to my accountant. They hung up.
He really pushed that I would be arrested in the next 2 hours, and that IRS agents will show up with police officers.

They did the same to me please call the irs they will give you a website to place a complaint

These jerks have nothing better to do than prey on honest hard working people!!! I can see how easy for someone to fall for their scam as they are very credible with their non sense. SAME TWO a female who claims her name is Susan Hall or Ava Scott (you sound like a Susan hall to me with that thick accent you stupid Bi%#@).
Please be aware and do not fall for this scam!!! hang up immediately and block the numbers!!!!!

Scam hunting for ignorant people who get scared when they hear IRS. I called IRS and tgry confirmed they are scam. IRS dont call for tax issues. They send official letters. When I called back to tell them that I called IRS and that their number is reported as scam and IRS official number confirmed I am fine. They hung up immediately.

Kate Anderson called from 347 6321886, they answer the phone as IRS and then Kate is quite convincing that the IRS officers are coming with the police to arrest me today

Just got a similar call from 347-632-8956 saying that I should call "before anything goes wrong." Sounded sketchy but I'm glad I found this thread to confirm!

Same happened to my mom, I heard her talking about this IRS thing and Kate Anderson, probably fake.

SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME JUST NOW. I just tried calling her back and she said to call her back in 30 minutes because the person who had originally called me was not there anymore..YEAH RIGHT. It was the exact same voice. And now that I found this, I am not calling her back. It is so sad that this happens in our world.
