- Claire replies to amamdaDon't do anything. It is a scam. My husband has had it happen twice. We have spoke to our local state police department and the real local FBI for our state. It is NOT REAL. If they were truly from the FBI or State police the # would come up with that area code. The first time it happened, it scared us beyond belief. So I completely understand what you are feeling. With God behind me in this post, IT IS NOT REAL. Do a little investigating. Be safe and good to one another. Blessed Be...
- AnonymousHave had this happen numerous times. The first time they used my name and now they are using my husbands name. It is a SCAM. If you happen to answer tell them you are reporting them and they will immediately hang up and not call you back again.
Nothing to worry about. They do not have warrants for you, and they will NOT arrest you. It is a way for them to scam you out of money. - AnonymousSo I called the number back and some d-bag answered and i told him I was with the Denver Sheriff's Dept. This guy freaked out and said he would stop calling LOL
