why was this number calling my number

Received a message(?) from this number last night-left on voice mail.
The playback was a long pause-sniffle-deep breath-and a hacking cough-definitely a man-then came sounds of the phone clanking against something...strange message.

Just called & hung up when our machine picks up

Organizing for America Florida, is a organization connected with the DNC Democratic Party.  either soliciting donations for the DNC or asking for Volunteer help.  I can't wait till the frigg'in Election is over so both parties can stop these nuisance calls.

This number repeatedly calls at dinner time but never leaves a message.  We have caller ID and do not pick up any phone call from a number that we do not recognize.  Nonetheless, the calls from this number continue!

This is Organizing for America Florida, part of the Obama campaign.  I received a call from them today asking who I supported for President.  I told them Romney, at which point they hung up.

Political fundraising vultures from "Organizing America Florida" (I called it back after they did the 'dead air' trick each time because they only like to harass you in real time). Calling me twice a day on a Saturday (morning and evening) irritates me considerably as this is my time off from work. It will be a cold day in Hades before these assclowns get a penny of my estate (which is mostly pennies anyway, thanks to the Great Recession), and it sure would be nice if they would flurk off...

You had the awdacity to send me a recorded message at 9:40 pm. Even if I were to vote Democratic, I will not now.

If I would have known it was Organizing America Florida, I would have gladly told them to look for another job.

This number has called in the evening hours 5 times in the last 3 weeks.  After a 20 second silence, the busy tone returns indicating that the connection was lost.
I do not need to speak with anyone at this number and do not want them to continue to call me.  I am on the National Do Not Call list.

I received a call from this number.  Didn't leave a voicemail.  If they won't identify themselves I don't take the call.  Thanks for the other postings so I know who it is.

They called my business phone. I answered about 6:20pm Saturday (Sept 29) and no one was there. Called it back and it was the Obama campaign.

CALLER ID "UNKNOWN". Wanted to talk to a person that has not lived at this address for about 30 years.
Caller wanted to argue and said the person does live at this address. Back ground noise of  music and kids.

Recorded message urging you to vote for the illegal Kenyan again so he can "finish the job he started".  Apparently the total transformation of the USA into a third world country will take him another four years.

In other words,he's finishing the job the petulant child from the Bush crime family started(and nearly finished)?

I am on the Do Not Call list and do not appreciate the fact that I keep getting a call from this number.

They called asking for my wife by her first name.  When told that she wasn't here I proceeded to ask who was calling and no response.
