I continue to get messages from foreign speaking people threatening me with legal action The mans name was Alan Martin for the Legal Dept of ACS  BEWARE it is a scam

I have been getting the same message for a week..no matter what you tell them they call..very rude but def a scam so BEWARE!!!

just got same call they have all my information and threating me with legal actions also saying ill be charged with 3 charges for this and caller was foreign.

I got the same guy calling and he hang up a few times and said that they have 3 charges agaist me he was like from india or something what can be done about this fool

They call with legal action and it is not true he is very rude and it looks like he wants to get money from me saying that I owe money to a bogas company that I have never seen

I just got a cal from this same foriegn speaking freak telling me that a lawsuit was put against my social security number and my name. I then asked his name and who he worked for he said Kevin Black From American legal Council I then stated to him that i have never gotten any payday loans and he can shove it where the sun dont shine then he hung up

when I called back. Kevin Black (sounded exactly like Thomas) threatened the law suit.He got very upset when I said it sounded like a scam, very un professional for a layer type.

Got the same phone call.  First talked to James Carter then was transferred to Alex Anderson at Amearical Legal Service (ACLS) Legal department.  While I was looking up in my bank account the advance they say I supposedly got form Cash Advance USA in October 2010, this Alex guy was talking to a coworker in his native tongue and it sounded similar to Urdu which is the commom language spoken in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.  I get these calls all the time and act dumb.  I pretend like we are having problems with our phones and ask them for a call back number, extension and full name in case we get disconnnected.  I get as much information as I can.  The AR Attorney General has made all pay day loans that exceed the Federal usary (sp) rate of 17% illegal and therefore void.  They have a complaint form on their website and ask that if people get calls like this to report these companies so that they can go after them.  Check with your state attorney general's office to see if they have the same thing.  Or check out Arkansas's to see what information to get so you can file a complaint. The more information you get the better.  I then fire back with them that I never got the money, will not pay it back, tell them to go ahead and file their law suit because, thanks to our AG, there is no judge in the state of AR that will even hear the case.  BTW, there was a posting on another 800# that said that Cash Advance USA's files had been hacked and that anyone who had ever applied for a payday loan was getting calls.  I got one from them years ago, but it was paid off in 2 weeks & I can prove it.  Hope this helps someone.

Receiving threatening calls from company called Affidavit Consolidation Services, Mack Thomas, on behalf of cashadvanceusa.com.  Won't repeat the conversation as it is similar to other experiences posted here.  I have contact the BBB, FTC, FBI, and my local law enforcement officers. This is a scam, beware, they have way too much personal sensitive information.

Received a call from this number, told me that my son had committed a fraud against a company, and we were listed  also as parents, he told me his name was Matt Palmer.  This call was a total scam, he was from India and I finally told him to go back to his own country.  He told me that I was covering for my son.  Why are these people able to keep calling and threatening people.

They are still at it...I got 2 numbers now...one is (CA) 760.269.4157 and sure enough it's Kevin Black again with the same B.S. about payday loans...also calls from (CA) 323.362.6015..funny I called back and it went to a voice mail....that says hi this is Sharon, I can't take your call right now, please leave a message...LOL.... I gave the FBI's fraud division # as a call back. They have moved the business from Florida to California...
