they sent me a text message saying I won a Caribbean Cruise for 2 people, fully paid for. All I had to pay for was the government taxes. They asked me for my name. Well, if I entered a cruise they would have had my name connected to my phone #

This was the text sent to me. Odd, I never entered a contest and would like to know how they got my contact info.

Yes, notice how they spelled won with a zero.  Legally they can say they never told you you won anything. w0n means nothing.

I got this text and looked it up, here's how I find a scam message. Call them, if they ask for info about you, ask for valification or ask if you can call authorities. I know it's weird, but it works! I use it every time!

I just got a text from phone # 813-515-1802 with e-mail rkralsvgss@atlanticnotify.net and I checked and there is no such e-mail. The text to me states: MK: You've wOn our contest! Call 813-515-1802. Look at how they spelled wOn. I am typing exactly as given to me. Got to be a Scam and I want to report this. Thank You.

I deleted the message & didn't call the number. Seems like a scam to me.

I got a text message with same You've w0n our contest!  Call 813 515 1802.  sent from zkurbvpt@msn.com.  It is likely a scam; I didn't do any action but to delete it and let everyone know on this site to NOT engage with these text messages.

Same here, I dont remember entering in a contest. So I called back. Sure enough I "w0n" a cruise for two, and just have to pay the " associated tax fees". Its has to be a scam, if I truley won I dont want to pay for anything, and how did you get my number but dont know my name if i enetered your contest.

Well they must be on a roll because I just got a text saying to call 813-515-1802 though it was a hotmail account.  Seems always scam like to me

Just got this text from the email address "vaeqdzljt@atlanticrewards.net" a website for this company doesn't seem to exist. Positive it's a scam. Anyone have any idea how to block it? I don't really want to respond to it.

I too just got the same message. Reverse number look up and email. This is not the first time either for me and this person.

Wow! I got the same text... I must be in a room full of winners... maybe well all be on the same cruise... aboard the new SS Titanic.... lol

I received the same "you've won our contest" - clearly a scam because if a contest is genuine, the winner should NEVER have to pay for anything, taxes, shipping, etc.
