They call and call leaving messages "Hi, this is so and so. Please call me back regarding an important business affair." I called back and it is Focus Receivables Management - a collection company. They want money that I feel I don't owe. I am disputing this bill with my health care company but this number continues calling.

Got a call from this number informing me i owe qwest unpaid bills. I asked them how they got my cell phone number and the guy told me Qwest provided it to them.  First of all i never provided my CP number to qwest other than my home phone number so i know right away it's a scam call. Second, my qwest bills are paid automatically from my account so i don't owe anything.

I signed up for a Sprint Pocket PC over a year ago, I get calls from this number almost daily, no messages left.

I get called everyday from this number = Chris Smith regarding an important business matter.  I have never given my cell phone number out to anyone but friends.  Usually no message is left and comes up unavailable but the last two days this number has shown up.

I get called at least 10 times a day from the # and on my home phone as well from teh same #. Same message as posted above.
STOP THE HARRASMENT!!!!

They call my house daily, usually twice - once as "Chris Smith" the other time as "Jane Cross" - both are recorded messages.  This number is also identifiable by 877-623-6287.

I have sent Focus a letter requesting they cease calling as well as faxed them the letter. They still continue to call. When will the FTC do it's job?

I get several calls a day from a supposed "Chris Smith, regarding an important business matter." I've called back and they jokingly say that their is no Chris Smith. They also can not find a file for my number and have promised to remove it, however that was several months ago and it never stops! I urge everyone to call their toll free number at 1-877-623-6287 and do what I did, which was keep saying "Hi, this is Chris Smith, regarding an important business matter." Just keep doing that over and over. They get really upset and hang up.

This company calls and leaves me 1/2 a message. I do not know the number they call from or what shows up on caller I.D. as they call one of my 80 voice mail numbers. Their web site breaks its cyber arm patting them on the back for doing such a great job. Call their number and bluntly tell these idiots that THERE IS NO ONE @ THIS # BY THAT NAME. YOU ARE OBLIGED UNDER FEDERAL LAW TO REMOVE MY NUMBER FROM YOUR QUE. FURTHER ATTEMPTS TO COLLECT A DEBT BY HARRASSING ME WILL RESULT IN LEGAL ACTION, NOW ARE WE CLEAR????? ADDITIONALLY YOU NEED THEIR COMPANY INFORMATION; THEIR PHONE NUMBER & THE NAME OF WHO IS CALLING. TELL THEM YOU WANT THIR REAL NAME NOT THEIR "CALLING NAME" THE ONE THEY WERE BORN WITH!!!

for further information. I have a debt in their office and have refused to pay it many times (it's a long disput). The only thing they will say is, "we will have to make recommendation for further action" knowing that they are not allowed to flat out tell me they will file suit w/out being allowed to do it. I get a kick out of asking them to tell me what will happen if I don't pay it. Every time a different person calls me and I am getting ready to file a complaint since the Statute of Limitations has run out!!! They truly do not know what the hell is going on over there.

This number has been calling me ever since I moved into my new house, although I have the same phone number I have had for years. We do not owe any money and anytime we answer the call, no one is there.

This call is coming from Florida and we live in Ontario, Canada.

I think companies like this should be sued for this kind of behaviour. It's ridiculous.

They call and when I answer they don't talk.

They call and identify themselves and that's all.

I keep getting these calls from this number and like most of the rest of the complaints they don't usually leave a message or it is this Chris Smith person.  I'm tired of these calls all day long and on weekends  Can't anyone make them stop?
