Ford Motor Credit

I got a call tonight (830pm) that started with "Good afternoon, we're looking for your neighbor **** ****. How well do you know this person? Her phone isn't working properly, do you have a better contact number for her, or can you take our number and give it to her for us and ask her to call?" My neighbor is on her honeymoon, out of the country, and the guy on the phone couldn't tell me how he got my number, or how he knew we were neighbors! This is ridiculous that I get possible collection calls for people that don't live in my home!

I recently enroled in credit solutions and am having them deal with my creditors.... HOWEVER FORD seems to think they are exempt from credit solutions. I already gave Ford the proper number to call. Tonight I got a threatening call from a man named Joe at Ford. After I informed him in a polite maner to call the number I gave him he continued to threaten me so I just hung up on him. He then proceeded to call TEN, yes TEN times in a row, which I hung up on him all of those times. So if you are working with a credit company to solve your debt. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE THE HARRASSMENT FROM THEM. Thank you

I have gotten 3 phone calls from Ford for someone I don't know. Today's call insisted I knew the person because it was used as a reference. The caller did not want to listen to me that someone must of lied and used my number.

These morons, (Craig), keep calling me about a Ford Focus debt. I am not that person but that minor fact doesn't seem to deter them from continuing to call me. I have spoken to customer service and one of their associates about this but obviously a sixth grade education can only take you so far. While I realize that this is "Craigs" lifelong ambition to be a collection agent, one would think that an important fact in having a successful career in this profession would be to CALL THE RIGHT PERSON! But no, Craig is not deterred by the facts. Does anyone have a website for these buffoons? Harassing them for a change might be fun.

I keep getting calls, along with other family members regarding a past due account incurred by my son, who has the same name.
The rep at Ford Credit has been given on many occasions ways and means to contact my son, yet they do not want to follow through.

Please educate yourself. Credit Solutions doesn't mean jack. You signed a written contract with FMCC that superceeds your "Credit Helper" They can't talk to them and will not release any information. They also do not have to negotiate with them. They have a legally enforceable contract and you will pay the price with marks on your credit and late charges if you do not enforce the situation. You will not have a leg to stand on if they repo your vehicle

What you neglect to see is that by your son taking on his responsibility and paying his bills the calls would stop. Who knows maybe they'll help him out with his vehicle. One thing i'm sure of. If he doesn't call them they'll keep calling you

I got a call from 813-740-8600 with "Ford Motor Cred." on the Caller ID.

The message was from someone who asked to speak with me regarding a vehicle I purchased recently, so it sounds legit. I haven't called him back as he left a phone number and extension.

Any way to find out if this is really legit?

Yep, got a call from this same number today (Sat 7/12)Looked it up online and it is Ford credit. We don't own Ford and never have. Going by the other notes I am not going to try to deal with explaining that to some jerk. Ignore for ever and will block #

813-740-8600      i had a call today from this number. the woman said her name was robin, said i lived at a certain address then said she was trying to contact "my neighbor" 2 doors down. she knew my name, mentioned my old address and claimed to be looking for someone who was never my neighbor!! how do these people get our personal info ? this is rediculous !! i googled the number and it came up ford credit i never had anything to do with ford !!!

Just got a call from this number, Ford Credit at 12:00 am.  I don't think this is legal.  My payment was due six days ago and my husband just got out of the hospital with kidney failure.  This is really crazy and unnecessary.

Just received two calls from this number to my mobile in about as many weeks.  Both times they asked for for someone who didn't live here nor did I know.  I asked them to remove me from their list and that obviously has not worked.

That all it is they must be happy Bill Gates came into their pathetic little lives

These people in this office call my house (isabel) and made a racial slur. If that is the way Ford Motor Credit conduct their business than shame on them I will Never ever buy another car from them agin

Got a call today on ID as Ford Credit Company stating that they were trying to reach my neighbor (name given). Gave address. You live at this number....We have been trying to reach them and have been unsuccessful. Are they still there???.....
I resent this types of calls coming to me because they claim they cannot reach someone. BS.
This is the 2nd time they have called here.

They called my parents and said that i was dead and that someone was trying to turn in my car. I was in a seminar and unreachable. My parents nearly had a heart attack. Idiots.

they won't stop calling me! They ask for someone i don't know and when i hang up they call me back. i'm 16 and they ask to speak to my mother. I'm like, "LEAVE US ALONE AND STOP CALLING"
