i got this call from this lady name shannon stelle.and she said that i had an restraining order and she gave me the # i need to give to the ppl wen i call and it was mrk-113 and this is not my 1st time on this website this my second.so i just typed in the # and to see all yall comments i know for sure that these ppl just want to get pur info.so plzzz be careful who you give your info out 2

Thank you for your post I got the same message wondered who the heck wants to put a restraining order on me?    Told me to hire a lawyer as well.   I am actually on hold with them when decided to google their number.  Thanks Google and thank you people who posted.

i got the same call but they called my fatherinlaw and had my last name wrong they had my maided last and told me that see you in court aafer itold them ididnt have any money i was so worried that i was going to go to jail and not see  my son but thanks u ppl im ok

I just had the same thing happen...what a load of C***!!! This is harassment at it's finest. I like the civil suit idea. Where the hell do they get "restraining order"? What are they going to restrain me from...my money??? Good luck. Same scripted message... call them back back, talk with an accent, and try to get thier SS#.....it's a hoot!

So I was at a concert with my girlfriend and we got a call from her mother from a Robert Johnson phone number 813-863-1961 no I'm in mountain time when we got out of the show i called they were closed I guess. when the audio picked it it said it was Center legal Network. The issue I am having with this is that they called my girlfriends Mothers house i have no idea how they got a hold of her number I have never use her mothers number for anything kind of makes me upset.

They said I owed for a credit card taken out in 2001 and they were going to freeze my bank account and I told them I'd never had a credit card since 1997.
And this couldn't be mine. They said they would just go ahead and freeze my
account, I called them and asked them to send me out paperwork on this three
times, never got anything. So I called again and asked for their address and
they hung up on me 3 different times. There is nothing on my credit report
about this at all, we should start a class action suite against them, as an
attorney this will be dealt with on my part.

My wife just got a voice mail from a Andrea Cunningham from 813-863-1961. Same stuff all you good folks are getting. Restraining order and such. Sure glad this site is here. Heard of other scams like this one and never thought it would happen to anyone I know.

I got the same message yesterday however it was at my parents home but they were using the wrong first name. I thoight that this was a scam from the begining. Howeveer glad that everyone posted this message it does make me feel more comfortable becasue I have need had any problems with any one to have a restraining order.

I to recieved this call from a number simply "1" which said the restraining order, with a docket number and referred to call the 813-863-1961 and I called and asked what court was this filed in and he said just give me your number that was given. I told him this was a joke and to not call me anymore. And that restraining order should not be used.

I received a call this morning (Feb. 21) a little after 10 AM from someone who identified himself as Frank Robinson at "Central Legal Services."  He said he had a message for JA (name withheld) and spouted some B.S. about a restraining order, and that JA's attorney had 48 hours to respond or "legal action" would be taken.  He gave me an "affidavit number" and gave 813-863-1961 as a contact number.  Well, to begin with, I have lived in this house for over 40 years with the same phone number and no one by that name lives here, or ever has lived here.  What's more, I don't even know anyone by that name and, to the best of my recollection, never have.  I was considering calling them back to tell them they probably had the wrong phone number, but something about the call smelled a little fishy.  So I GOOGLED this phone number and uncovered this whole pile of horse droppings surrounding this phone number, so I plan on ignoring it.
    I considered filing a complaint with the FTC and/or the Florida State Attorney General, as some others have, but since the party they were supposedly looking for was not me - or anyone known to me - I wonder if that would be a waste of time.  Anyone have any ideas on that?

Got a call TODAY 2-22-11 and they are still at it.  This lady's name was "Amanda Jennings"  same BS, complaint filed against me and I need to contact her right away because a restraining order was filed against me.  That sounded odd, lol, if there was a restraining order filed against me, guess I don't need to see whomever then, lmao.

Same number, 813-863-1962 but I did google it to see all of your posts.  The last post was from 1-18-11.,  I'm just updating since its happened to me in February.

It was a blocked call on my caller id too.

SCAM!!!!

Received a call today as well. Actually, they called an old house number where I used to live, but still know the resident who imformed me of the rude call. I called them back (with my number blocked) and asked them what this is regarding since I have no debts out there. I knew it was fishy. The woman on the phone asked me to give her the first 3 number of my S.S.! I said, absolutely not and that I was going to report her to the F.B.I. She got pissed and rude and hung up on me. hahha.

This company called and said my husband had a restraining order and to contact our attorney immediately.  This is absolutely false and this is a scam!!

They called me in regards to collecting a debt is this a scam or a true legal service?

My caller ID showed Name unavail, 300-000-0004. Since I thought it an odd number I let my answering machine get it. It asked for a Mr.(our last name) The man said he was special investigator Tony Carter. Gave an affidavit (sorry my spelling) number and to call this number. He said it was about a restraining order. The only Mr. here is my father and he wouldn't hurt a fly. And he pays his bills. So if this is really a debt collector, then it is them who are commiting fraud by lying about who they are on the message. I actually tried calling back the 300 number and I got a message saying it was disconnected. Very odd. Most likely a scam.

I got a call from a lady that could barely speak english saying they had sent us several letters regarding some court date for a complaint that was filed against us. I haven't received any letters and can't imagine anyone filing a complaint against us. Anyway from what I could understand from the woman she mentioned something about us having to appear in court. Well don't they send a sherriff or some court official to serve you with a supoena when you have to appear in court? I would think so. Anyway we do owe some past due bills but our family has suffered some major crisis recently and we are doing the best we can. I have an ear full for this woman when she calls back. The same woman also called other family members looking for us. How weird. But really what can they do to us? We are doing the best we can to make ends meet and pay our bills. Should I be worried about this?

I just received a call from this number and from a woman that can't hardly speak english. She told me that we have to go to court because someone had filed a complaint against us. But she couldn't tell me what the complaint was and who filed it. Go figure! So she can go hug a nut! I am sick of bill collectors or scammers calling. I think if I really had to appear in court I would hear from a court official or get a supoena. WTF ever!

Received a call from this number claiming that my husband has 24 to 48 hours to respond regarding an affadavit for a restraining order. I told them that the police show up with restraining orders and that's the only way so I googled the number they gave and found out it's happened to countless others. I even asked the caller why there number was not local if it was regarding a restraining order and they claimed because of privacy issues. What a bunch of hooey. I unfortunately know exactly how the law works and this is not how. I hope that they do not call back. I would like to know how many times they need to call before it can be reported to local authorities as harassment. Thank goodness for Google.  I hope nobody else falls for this obviously threatening manner they use to get money.  Falsing using the threat of law enforcment's power is a crime in person but not over the phone apperently.

I will also make a complaint! This is insane, I have caller ID at work I noticed it was a blocked call ~ so I let the call go in to voice mail... I later listened to the message and let a co worker/friend listen too. We both took it serious, but later looked at this web-site. At this time I am not going to do anything more about this call except save it. I will save it and keep note of  it ~
