Called and said they were doing energy audits.  They wanted to be sure we qualified and asked if our energy bill was more than $125 a month.  I said no, only $80.  Guy yawned then hung up on me.  Called the number back, it rang for 6 minutes with no answer.

This is a scam company that is being investigated for posing as a legit energy company (alluding to partnership with local utilities/power company).  The goal is to arrange for a "free" audit and information meeting to help the homeowner lower power bills by doing all sorts of renovations that are instantly approved for credit.  They are NOT affiliated with any actual power companies and the sales tactics are high pressure and can be aggressive.  They have been robo calls for us and after repeat "hello's?" someone usually answers and talks over our requests to remove us from the calling list.  

We are on national and state do not call lists.  This number is a scam business and should be reported.  Best wishes and hope this helps...

called (came up as UNKNOWN) on phone.  Same as previous entry (TPAHomeowner) - Wanted to show how thier company, "affiliated with the electrical company in our area", could show us how to save on electrical bill - if our bill was over $125 - ours isn't.  Stymied the caller when said we use gas.....didn't stop them however, said they were going to be in the area and wanted to have someone come over to show savings anyhow....said no - they thanked me and hung up.

Repeated calls daily. Hang-up or disconnect every time I answer.
Called the number back and rings without pick-up until it automatically
disconnects the call.

These calls are harassing and I will investigate as to what options I have
to issue a cease on the harassment.

Pick up phone when ringing and call disconnects. Irritating!

I've been on do-no-call lists for years and always tell telemarketers to put me on their company do-not-call list. He knew my last name and said "Hello, Miz ______?". I answered in a suspicious tone "Okay", and he hung up.

A google search of the phone# shows a private investigator near Tampa FL however his company is dissolved and his PI license is expired. I'm unable to locate him to see if this is still his phone#.

If you call back the number on the caller ID (813-864-7691) it quickly changes to the fast-beep (not a busy signal but some other problem).

after telling them they've called a do not call number the moron actually said "I'm not soliciting anything."  I informed him he's an (expletive deleted) liar and mentioned that a complaint is being filed.  When will these people get it through their heads that there are those of us who block them and/or are on  a do not call list for a reason...BTW, it's currently 8:45pm...and I just hung up from this this this...never mind.  I despise phone solicitors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These goofballs just called us too.  When told we are on the DNC list,  and asked to NOT be called again, the snied person on the other side said " your name is on the list and you will be called again."  I have complained to the feds and the state.

The Guy was a total jerk, when we asked to speak to the super visor he said no and hung up.

First, my shame: I worked for that company for 3 days as a caller. They use a dialer that hides their real number. The company name is elite information solutions and they're located on 436 in casselberry florida. They're trying to sneak a solar water heater salesman into your home to get you to spend 12 large. That's why they ask if you're a homeowner and your credit score.

If you really want to stop these people, complain OFFICIALLY to the Florida Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs. Contact Monica Brown of their Telemarketing Dept at Monica.Brown@freshfromflorida.com and/or go to the website www.800helpFLA.com and use the online complaint form. Be as specific as possible. Name Michael Hilgar and Elite Information Solutions and say that his company is making direct sales solicitations in violation of Florida law in addition to violating Federal law (you can make that complain to the FCC). Unbelievably when I spoke with Monica she told me NO ONE had yet made a formal complaint against this company. I did. Now YOU need to do as well so we can put these people behind bars. Michael Hilgar IS a criminal and known con artist. Just look up his record. He has gone from one scam (roofing and stucco) to another. WE need to stop him.

I have to wonder if Duke energy is selling your number. I just moved into an older home, and I asked Duke energy if " they" could do an energy audit; and low and behold I'm getting daily calls from this number ever since. So someone at Duke is selling phone numbers to this company.

These people are driving me nuts ! I get at least 1 or 2 calls every single day; and this has been going on for months.  Does anyone know how to stop this?  I am pretty sure someone from Duke energy sold them my number, because I called Duke for an energy audit from them, being told it was a service they do if you have unusually high electric bills; and now I get this. Pisses me off.

Your message is a very good one; but they are affiliated via Duke energy has been selling our numbers to them. Someone ought to put a stop to major companies selling off your number to off companies like this; instead of them doing what the Government says they are mandated to do if you are getting creamed with unusually high bills. So not only am I getting creamed every month by Duke, I'm also getting harrassed by a telemarketer.

I just closed on a new home and I just received a post card in the mail that says:

Obviously this is a scam as there is no company name or information and there does not appear to be a post mark on it as well.
