- Drew| 4 repliesThese two guys who call themselves "Mike" and "Colby" are pretending to be sweepstakes guys for the credit card companies. They offered free magazines and prizes and asked for my Debit card # and expiration date. I unfortunately believed them and even after I said "NO I don't want to receive these magazines and take my name out of the sweepstakes," they charged my account. These guys are phony!

- rjones| 4 repliesThis phone number is listed in Floriday and is not a 1-800 number. I've spoken to "Frank" "Amber" and one other lady. The ladies always seem to be "new" at the job. "Frank" always tries to get you to give him your credit card number in order to charge you for your "free" magazine subscription. If you try to tell them you want to change your mind, they keep telling you that they have to come to a sort of agreement within company policy. I called the police. They say that if you haven't signed a contract and not recieved the product, you have the right to change your mind.
After tellling them repeatedly that I wanted to cancel, that I had cancelled my credit card, and that I was hanging up, I finally did. Hopefully, I will not hear from them again.- Caller: Caller: Omni-Present

- mattslashdaleIf you see a number like this and don't want a deal on a magazine subscription or you really don't feel comfortable giving out personal information like a credit card number over the phone, pick up and state that you are the name that they ask for. Then say do not call me anymore. They have 30 days to put you on their do not call list. After that, if you hear from them again, you can file a complaint with the FCC. Hope this helps some of you.
- Caller: Omni(something)
- Call type: Telemarketer
- mattslashdale replies to Bobby RayIt is against the law for telemarketers to leave messages on your machine if they aren't trying to collect a debt.
- mattslashdale replies to T-mobile userChances are they aren't allowed incoming calls at their phonebank and that's why you can't get anyone. Just pick up next time they call. It only takes 5 seconds to get them to stop calling you.
- clrdemellocaller informed me that i could enter to win some great stuff. He stated "You still have a Visa or Mastercard, right?" I asked how he knew that and if he had the card number. he answered with "Thats all the information I have." He then asked me if I was still at such and such addrss which was correct. I again asked him how he got that information. He said that was all the info that "they" gave him. I was ver persistent and asked who "they" were. He at that point hung up on me! Be careful. This has got to be a scam.
