bb8 Nov 2007- L and J Bay Area called me today, asked for my name then hung up. I filed a complaint with the OK attorney generals office and then found this site. The number on my caller id was 813-899-1569. I tried to call back it shows to be disconnected. found a good number for them here on this thread 813-988-5941 and contacted "jamie" she apologizes and says she'll get your name off the list. Really, how sorry is a ruthless telemarketer?

- I hope that this pots to everybody who is angry with them, but the source of calls from 813/899-1569 is a company (who calls themselves a company who gathers information rather than is a sales or marketing company)in Tampa, Florida called L&J Bay Area Holdings. Their address is 111 Bullard Pkwy., Tampa, Florida 33617. Their contact number (their real number) is 813/988-5941, and their fax number is 813/496-7304. They won't stop their telemarketing call conduct unless you get in their face (which is what I did - I have been an attorney since '94), so feel free to call them and express how you feel.
- You're terrific! I called the main number and got an instant response. The number L&J called from would not take any messages, including a request for removal. After threatening to report them to the NC Attorney General, who is aggressive in going after telemarketers who call numbers on the "do not call" list, I was promised my number would be removed immediately. If this works, it's thanks to you for giving us all the required contact information. Thanks again.
- I disagree. Do not negotiate with these phone terrorist. I encourage everyone to file a report with the FCC as their calls are usually abandon and the FCC will eventually find them and fine them. Below is a link to file a complaint and another link with information so you can read the law. Nearly every telemarketing call made breaks the law one way or another. These guys are serious offenders. Report them to the FCC every time they call. You do not have to be on the no call list to report illegal calls such as abandon. Most telemarketers are identity thieves. Any caller that will not identify with a call back number and physical address is a scam. If not what are they hiding? They are hiding from the FCC who cannot prosecute if they cannot can't find them. Very simple! Just report them every time they call. The FCC cannot get them unless everyone files complaints continually. The more complaints the bigger the fine. Craftsmatic beds were fined several million by the FCC and put them out of business, only because enough people reported them. Lets get these jerks! They are identity thieves!

They would be glad to do it all the rude and sassy talk is not needed all it does is create headache and aggravation for you and the employee. The people who work there are just doing what they are told to do their mission is not to piss you off or annoy you. They are just regular Americans mostly college students working for a living that is it! Sorry for anyone who was rude but I was never rude the person being called was usually the rude one. Simple answer YES OR NO remove my number PLEASE.
- That's fine to tell them to take you off the list. I have done that and 6 months later they are calling again. It is offensive for them to ask for my husband and if I say he is not here, they just hang up. I want to explain when he can be reached but they are already gone. That's what pisses me off. And if happens TOO often.
- Yea for ur information i never worked for the company and i asked them nicely to stop.....and for ur info they are still calling me evry other week on mondays......now explain to me how that is just doin their jobs.......if their jobs was to call random ppl on mondays evry other week i would understand why but but by the looks of it thats not the case. So y dont u take ue sympathetic reasoning behind this situation and shove it up ur a** sorry for being rude but hey u wouldnt care rright ur just the kind of person to let things slide.
- To TTS: That would be great if a person was on the phone when they call. Then perhaps I could "kindly" ask them to remove from from their list, as I am on the D.N.C. liss already. However, everytime I answer the phone from them calling the lines hangs up. RUDE!
I say make a big headache for this company and file complaints. What they are doing is illegal.
