guy called named eric wright saying i would be arrested tomorrow. has anyone gotten a call from this clown? his voice sound so weird.

I just received a call from this number asking for one of our employees. He said his name was Eric Murphy instead of Eric Wright. Told me he was a good friend of employee. Had a middle eastern accent.
Guy by the name of Paul Nixon called last week from a different number asking for same employee. I received 11 calls in 7 min. that day. After I told him I knew he was a scam he never called back.

I have gotten a message from this phone number today. He said he was from ann attorneys office. Very strong middle eastren accent. Hard to understand. He said I would be arrested. I do not like these threatning calls. I am going to my local authorities hopefully this will help. Its a scam.

i just received a call from this telephone # saying i will be arrested soon,that theres an arrest warrant,he put me on hold to talk to a senior lawyer but then the call was dropped. his name is according to him is eric wright.

At first I owe some insurance, then when he get a call from my attorney and he did not want to my attorney, but keeps calling only to want to speak to me.

This is a criminal extortion ring operating out of India. ABC News released an investigative report on it in June. The FTC has indicted one of its ringleaders for criminal fraud:

In the meantime, you are going to have to do whatever you can to protect yourself. That includes letting them know they are running a scam and are reporting them to the authorities

I received a call from this guy saying his name is Shawn.  Told me I was going to be arrested.  He gave me his email address ericfoster@lawyer.com.  I contacted the FTC.

I and my employer were contacted this evening by a heavy middle eastern accented man (Mr. Fernandez). Was told to buy a green dot money card and put $750 on it then call him back with the pin # or I would be arrested in 1hr. Reported him to my local Sheriffs office.

A man with an accent keeps calling my cell phone telling me there's a lawsuit against my social security number and that unless I reutrn his call today, I would be arrested at my mailing addrss. The number he left was 813-938-7531.  I googled the number and found all these notes.

I just received this call from a Shawn who just wanted to know if I was at home. So he can send the sheriff to pick me in within the hour. I asked him for the address and he hung up. I have his voice mail saved and contact my Lawyer.

I just got call from this guy. I said I'm calling the police and they never called again!

I got a call from this number 3 hours ago and they said that there was a warrant for my arrest and that I would be arrested within the hour unless I pay 1000 dollars. He said his name was Shaun White and he works for a distric court out of flordia. I told him I wasn't gonna pay him [***] and all he said was ok bye.

I have gotten calls from this monkey under several different names and from five different states. Always
the same thing, I'm going to be arrested,this call is time sensitive,If I don't hear from you or your attorney
then all I can say is good luck. All I can say is if I ever run in to him I will be arrested and he's going to need
the luck.

I got a call a couple weeks ago from a guy sayin he was with the American Credit (something) very hard to understand. He said my last 4 ss had a lawsuit againt it bc I took out a loan & never paid it back. I asked him the name of loan Co & date he told me said I had to pay him like $900 or else. Told him I wasnt paying him a penny without proof. Said it was sent to me. Told him he was full of it bc none of this was true never heard from again. Today I get a call from a Shawn White stating same bout my ss. Says from District Codes or something in Tampa. Havent actually spoken to this one yet but its the same scam as before. Dont fall for it!

I just got a message from this guy...I can barely understand a word he is saying...if your an american looking for me than come on.  says that I will be arrested at my home address, scary thing is he knows my home address, I know this is a scam...How do I stop it???/

I recieved a call by a man threatening me with police warrent going to b issued due to a delinquit dept i owe...i explained i had lost one of my job nd wuld b making arrangement with the co. One im on my feet again..he(shawn white) then sayd id b in jail for 90 days..i explained i culdnt do that due to my oone job consistd of taking care of a senior with numerous health issues....i then requested a loan of $100.00 frm my employer...he heard me making request nd began demanding that it culdnt b less than 150.00...i informed him not possible...the hundred was suitable for now....he then went on nd on about 3or4 times that i had to purchase money pak green-dot card...more to b said but to make it shirt i am pressing charges for the false identification of presentation nd theft of my money....
