- SparklesReceived a call at 6:45 am this morning, I was in bed, I never answer calls I don't know the number, however, because it was so early I couldn't see the number calling, didn't know if it was work calling me in or my son was on the road that early and didn't know if there was a problem with him....when I answered it was still ringing....I knew then it wasn't a legit call...
- FrustratedI get a call from these people every so often and they have only left a message on my answering machine one time. They are always speaking with a heavy middle eastern accent and they need you to call back, as you are having problems with your computer. Never fall for it, as once they log into your computer, they lock everything up and then you have to pay them a heavy ransom to get it unlocked. I always let my answering machine answer.....I will be blocking these scammers. For once I wish I had the time to take their call and have a little fun with them....See how long it will take them to get frustrated and hang up.

- Annoyed in PAJust as others have written, received at 6:52 A.M, on 19 Feb 2016; and at 7:24 A.M, 20 Feb 2016, calls voiced by adult male using heavily accented Pakistani/Asian Indian: "This is Computer Services calling. You have a problem with your computer and we are able to repair it...". Today, I followed the written directions from Verizon Superpages Book: Hang up and dial *57; and then block the number displayed on Caller ID ---> 814-833-1498.
- Caller: "Computer Services"
- joan635635 am woman with accent called. Said problem with my computer. I hung up. No business calls that early.
- TWAt 7:53 am phone ringing, did not answer. A male with a heavy accent left a message;
A phone was ringing and the male kept saying Hello Hello Hello, I see from previous comments that they are computer experts (LOL)
How do you get these calls to stop? - Northeast PhiladelphiaCalled at 6:50 am. Indie/Pakistan accent. He made the usual computer service claims. Was very persistent, immune to comments about the illegality of his actions and disgracing his family. Ultimately he gave up.

- Punk 'Em GONEOh, man, I LOVE these fix-your-computer guys! When they call, my computer is always off and needs to boot up ("Sorry its taking so long, it's been very slow lately - glad you folks called...!"). I like to follow their instructions, slooooowly, and I might get confused 'cause I'm just a beginner. When I finally almost get to the website they want (yeah, the one that gives them access to the files on my computer...), I actually go to DoNotCall.gov. When they ask me what I am seeing, I say, "Well, a scale, in a shield, in a circle. Federal Trade Commission - why did you want me to go there?" My best time is about 22 minutes before they get it and hang up - can anyone beat it?
