- Retired LTRobotic Voice from the "IRS" stating that I or my attorney need to call 816-253-6036. Obviously a scam. After reporting it to the IRS at https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml, I called them back. They answer the phone "Internal Revenue Service". Funny, when I told them they were not the IRS, they hung up. After calling back 3 or 4 more times, it seems they have blocked my number. What a shame, because I would love to talk to them at great length because the longer they talk to a retired police officer, the less calls that can make to others trying to scam them!
- Julie B. replies to AnnaIt's not just cell phones. These same scammers are calling my land line; twice yesterday ( I didn't answer) and the vmail they left was the same robo voice reported by others: "blah blah do return the call before we take any action against you..."
