If you get a call from a strange company with area code 816 (sometimes the caller ID shows up 000-000-0000) it is a company called Global Crossing Local Services and they are a scam! They leave messages asking for someone I've never heard of, saying I need to call back immediately. When I call back and ask them to take me off the list, they say they can't do that and it looks like my identify has been stolen. They won't identify what company they work for if you ask them, but by looking up the number I was able to trace them. They even asked for my social security number this past time!

They called me and never said anything. When i called back, I was told there was several companies in the and transfered. Someone picked up, put me on hold and never came back.
