No message, just static

Finally got a message.  It's a call from Xerox.  They are doing a survey on recent service.  I assume a live person only comes on the line if your phone is not answered by any type of voicemail.  I received what sounded like an automated message.

No msg...just a missed call on cellphone

They called my office, asked for me by name and said Desktop Color Systems. I picked up the line and they hung up on me! Weird.

Received a call at 2:30 AM from this number - what kind of a stupid company is this!?!?!

Called me on my work cell at 2:32pm on October 22nd, 2008.  No message.

Called me four times in one day and wouldn't leave a voicemail. I didn't answer it because I get these kind of BS calls all of the time and I don't like them wasting my minutes.

Missed a call from this number. No message and no callback. Tried calling the number and it says the number is disconnected. Weird....

They called back!! It was GE healthcare trying to follow up on a recent service call because I work at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Weird that it is not a working number for incoming calls and also that multiple companies can use it for outgoing....

Johnson Controls.  The first three times they called, I answered and there was silence.  The fourth time, a woman answered.

Called on my cell when i receive the call it was blank call.

Call at 9:00am, nobody on the line after third ring. Comments above may indicate a vendor that does phone surveys for clients; guessing that they have to meet their quota for the survey, so if you don't answer right away, their automatic dailer just redials.

This number has phoned twice and has not left message....who is it?
