The caller did not leave message but has called 3 times

Caller does not leave any message, calls every day seven days a week since the beginning of July

This is CITI client services.

This number keeps calling every two hours or so, leaves no messages and if I am home to answer there is no one there, so I'm figuring it is a telemarketing company.  One previous post said this was CITI Client Services. I don't have any CITI acocunts and certainly none in arrears  so I don't want thier calls or business.

This is a phishing scam. I got a call from this number every few hours with caller ID "Missouri" - when i finally answered it after several days caller said he was from Citibank and did I know I was 12 days late on my account ending in xxxx. I said OK, I'll pay through Citibank not through you and started to hang up and he said i could have my late fee reduced if I paid on the phone. That should have been a flag right there. At that moment I got a phone call so I asked the guy to call back. He said he was going on his break (... whoa am I stupid) and that he would call back.

He actually did and I was stupid enough to verify my address (he had that anyway). He asked for the password on my account and I said "huh?" He said "probably your mother's maiden name." I was stupid enough to tell him and he said "That's it." He also asked for the last four of my social (I can't believe I was such an idiot) and I told him that.

Then he asked if i would pay by debit card or check and when I said check he wanted my checking account number starting with routing number. at least I wasn't stupid enough to give him that. I told him I didn't feel comfortable paying that way because he had called me and not vice versa. He launched into a litany of what he knew (the last four digits of my account number, the date and amount of my last payment ...  and interestingly when I asked him for more info ... he kept saying he didn't have a clear view into the account, couldn't give me that info ... but hold on ... and then changed the subject).

Anyway gave me an 877 number and a six-digit extension and his name "Wellbert" I looked up the number and it was variously associated with debt collection and a Citibank phishing scam. Also looked up Wellbert and it is the name of an insurance? company in Missouri. Unfortunately can't find the 877 number now. I did think the six-digit extension was strange.

Then I went into my actual Citibank bank account and saw that I'm current on all accounts.

If you're bored and this caller has been bothering you try calling this person every 2 hours and leaving no message and then when they do answer ask them for their bank account number!

and when they called today it was a woman who identified herself as "renee" and refused to give a last name or employee number. She gave this number as her direct line: 877-483-9183 x 22670.

guess what? 877-483-9183 is also associated with a phishing scam. again - someone pretending to be from citibank client services.

I too received a call from these people telling me the account was in arrears.  I knew better because both accounts through Citi Bank were paid up, and had cleared the bank.  The girl said she wasn't showing that, and needed me to veryify the bank routing number and account number.  I said there was not need, I knew the payments had cleared the bank, we were not behind, and there would be no reason for her to call me back, then I added the number to my call block program.  There are so many scammers out there.  Never make a payment over the phone if they call you.

I constantly receive phone calls from this number wanting my name, credit account numbers etc...on my CELL phone.

The phone number above is harassing me to the amount of 15-20 calls a day. I have told them to quit calling or I will report them to the Attorney General in my state. But, they keep calling. My name is on the "block call" list. I registered with my state. I want them to be fined. They are not only harassing me, they are eating up my limited time on my cell phone.

I am reporting this number to my phone company AND in the Indiana Attorney General tomorrow. I want them prosecuted and/or fined. Take MY NAME AND NUMBER OFF ALL LISTS

Calls at least 3 times per day, sometimes before 8 a.m. Caller ID only says Missouri and the number. They sometimes will call up until 9 p.m. and sometimes within a half-hour of the first call. Jerks.

Six calls in the past two days.  Caller ID says "Citi" and the number.  They don't leave a message.

Just calls but no message is ever left.

they keep calling and its always the same woman. they refuse to give a name or any info about them except they are from citibank and demand i give them personal information or they'll freeze my accts. i don't have any citibank accts.

Called twice 24 Dec 2012 by 10 AM and did not talk.  
Is this a FCC or Police Problem?

Waited on hold but they hung up on their end. Obviously not a real business

keeps calling and not leaving meassage. all hours of the day. no name on caller id.
