annoying, constant calls, no messages, hang-ups etc

Call, nobody there.

i understand that 817-238-1377, protege services in ft worth TX, uses these calls to open a toll free account on your number that pays for all their faxes, it is a fax tone that calls me about once a day

I get calls at least once a day from Protege Services.  When we pick up, we get a fax tone only, no voice or anyone on the line.

Calls come in about once every other day. When I say hello, the fax tones begin.

Our company uses Kall8 for our toll-free service, and for the past five or six months, we have been harassed by Protege Services on an almost daily basis.  This morning they called again, and on the email alert we receive from Kall8, there was an actual address for Protege Services listed.  Here it is:

The phone number they called from this morning that is associated with this address is 817-238-8979.

We can now all send certified cease and desist letters to this company, and then follow up with the FCC with Protege Services new contact info/mailing address.  I have filed a complaint with FCC, and I will add this new info to my online complaint.  Not only are we being charged for the calls Protege Services makes to our 800 number, since we have our toll-free number forwarded to our mobile phone, we are being charged minutes as well.  Protege Services is a scam and the harassment needs to stop.

got another call from protege services, and this time my email from kall8 gave me another physical address for protege services.  i have pasted the info below.  it looks like it's just a residential property, same as before.  i filed with the fcc as well, and was told it is not illegal.  so, since we have our toll free number forwarded to our mobile, we get billed for the call to the number, as well as minutes used on our mobile plan.  these aren't even real faxes... nothing comes through when you forward the call to a fax machine, and the numbers do not receive faxes either.  i cannot believe this is legal, and i cannot believe the fcc cannot do something about this.  what a shame.

We get 2 calls a month from "protege svcs", each time from a caller ID with a different number! All start with (817)237-xxxx, such as -9061, -7055, -7104, -0914, -2767.

Blocked 1-817-2* from my line. Ahh, silence.
