Said delivering package and asked for directions to business, but never came to deliver package.

I received a call on November 1, 2007 from BNS Services. The caller said that they were trying to deliver a package to the house across the street. She had my neighbor’s information – address, name and work place. Only asked me questions about the type and color of home. Thought the call was weird, and also never saw a package being delivered.

I also received a call from BNS services.  The caller said they were trying to deliver a package to the people next door.  Asked similar questions as listed in Marina's case.  Tried to call the number back and spoke to a person once then no one would answer.  Tried  several times to call back and recived voice mail.  Strange. The person said her name was Lindsay.

Did any strange things happen to you or the person after the call from BNS services?

I just received a call from 817-503-8113 as well on my home phone AND my cellphone with no message but caller ID identified them as BNS Services.  I have no clue who this is or why they are calling but strange they have my cell # as well...

Same situation as above. Apparently trying to deliver a letter to a house 2 doors down to a friend who has actually just moved but they have their new address too and said they had to deliver to both places....here is where I got suspicious and shut down information wise....they kept asking what the building looked like and I would not say....just said it is the one with BBB# on it. Phoned my friend right away to warn them. Sounds like a debt collection agency or something...very odd

I just recieved a call wanting to know about a house down the street which she keeped asking questions about the color and address of it--
kind of weird seeing how the area code is in Texas and I'm in Illinois

Just received a similar phone call, but the number is different.  It's still BNS Services, but the number is 817-656-1662.  They called our neighbor and asked all sort of questions about our house and how to get to it.  They had our home phone number and address, called our house, when we did not answer, they called our next door neighbor and asked him how to get to our house that they were a "courier" service and had a package to deliver.  No package ever arrived.

Just received a call from 817-503-8111, and it's dead on with what I'm reading above.  They need information regarding my house, what it looks like, and that they will drop off a package.  They went as far as telling me it's from the company which my auto loan is through...

I have learned through them, that is related to a "field visit" (i.e. REPO-MAN).  Now thankfully I had already worked out payment arrangements yesterday, so I will not be affected by this - but if you're getting this call - WATCH OUT!  You may need to make that late car payment!  I know I have had to juggle from time to time, so it's nice to know what this is about.

Got a VM at work and the lady said her name was lindsey and left the number (817) 503-8113. She said she was trying to deliver a letter to some address of someone I don't think I know. I tried to call the number back and it was continuously busy. It was a very strange message, especially to be receiving on my work line.

PACKAGE FOR DELIVERY STATED FROM CAR LOAN COMPANY. SAID IT WAS A LETTER FOR ME ASKED ABOUT NUMBER ON HOUSE AND WHAT SIDE OF ROAD ON. BUT NEXT DAY NO LETTER DELIVERED. SCAM BUT LOOK OUT FOR YOUR CAR THE REPO IS ON THE WAY.

Got this call today, talked to my machine asking if I could help their courier get to my next door neighbors house. Gave the name of a road down the street saying they were lost on that road and needed help getting to mine. My cars are all paid up so it must definately be for my neighbor. They called back a few minutes later but hung up when they got my machine.

I received a phone call today from 817-656-1662. The woman asked if a certain house number was near my house.  It is across the street, diagonally.  When I told her that, she said she had a package to deliver.
No delivery truck arrived.

I have a question, if this is a repo company, and they know the address they are looking for, why call a neighbor? And how did they get my phone number? Why not just go to the house they want?

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM "BNS" SERIVES AND THE LADY I SPOKE WITH ALSO WANTED TO KNOW IF MY ADDRESS WAS CORRECT FOR HER DELIVERY DRIVER. SHE  LOOKED IT UP AND SAID IT WAS A LETTER TO BE DELIVERED TO ME. SHE WAS VERY HELPFUL AS TO WHERE THE LETTER WAS COMING FROM. I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE CALL. I WAS ABLE TO GET THINGS STRAIGHTENED OUT WITH MY LOAN COMPANY AND SHE SAID IN DOING SO SHE WOULD NOT HAVE TO SEND ANYONE TO MY HOUSE. I GUESS WE JUST NEED TO KEEP UP WITH OUR BILLS.

They said basically the same thing as everyone else said, they were verifying that this was our address and said that there was a package being delivered.  This is very odd, and widhed I knew who this was.....

Got a message from this outfit. When I returned the call all they wanted was to drop off a letter. We called our auto loan company and was told this huge story that they went here and did this and left that. Anyone want to join a class action lawsuit for defamation of charator and illegial business practices????????

Recieved a call at my work # from Linsay saying that they had a package that needed to be delivered but she did not know what the package was for.  Verified my add and wanted to know what my house looked like and what development I lived in.  This is really scary.
