Would not take no for an answer. Asking for a donation. Told them all my money is needed for my family and they said I could donate in the future but still asked for money anyway. They said they were working for the state troopers association .. months ago a arlington texas person was arrested using the trooper association seeking donations. Be careful

My young daughter answered the call, they identified themselves as a texas state trooper association. When i got to the phone no one was there.  this is the second or third time this has happened.

it could be a state trooper don't let the badge fool you.

No answer....dead air.  But later called again. It was TSTA. Texas State Trooper Association.

They started talking and I cut them off and told them to stick it up their [***] and told them If I want to donate to them I will contact them and hung up.

I just got a call from this number telling me something about a hostage, that's why I wet to the computer to check for this number and I really appreciate your postings ... I know this is just people trying to do wrong...

I just got a call from this number.  I didn't answer, because I didn't recognize the number.  I googled the number and came up with this site.  I agree about the "No Call List"  Why are they still making calls?

Got a call from 817-554-3356 but just dead air when I answered.  I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST and this one and several other telemarketing companies have been calling

I am on the do not call list but they still insist on calling periodically.

The calling id for 1-817-554-3356 "Euless TX."  She told me that she was from Sallie Mae, and tried to get my name, of course I told her that if I need something I will contact them and I didn't answered.  They called today AGAIN, I didn't answered.  I will speak Spanish the next time,and see.

We have received many calls from 1-817-554-3356, since we don't recognize the number we don't answer.  No one has ever left a message on our machine.  I did a reverse look up, this number is a landline from Euless, TX.
I looked up the Texas State Troopers Association website and found the following info: For your security, the Association does not accept online donations at this time. If you wish to make a donation to the Texas State Troopers Association, please call (512) 450-1814, or write to us at the address on our home page.  I wouldn't give any money to the 817-554-3356.
