Calls from this number are placed by the Contract Sales & Renewal Department of Warrantech Corp.  These calls are to existing customers of Warrantech or our clients offering renewals of existing Service Plans, Home Warranty renewals, or a new Extended Service Plan for a specific recent purchase.  If someone requests to be placed on Warrantech’s Do Not Call list they are not called again.  To be added to the Do Not Call list, just ask our phone representative to add your number, or send your phone number to brett_cooper@warrantech.com requesting to be added to the Do Not Call.  If you came to this site to see who was calling you and why, I hope I have asnwered your questions. I have received several phone calls from this number and wish to report that I do not want to be called. I am on a do not call list!!!

the only thing worse than some fool calling you illegally is some fool such as brett calling you illegally with an excuse hoping you will be foolish enough to believe that he is not doing anything illegal.

and then to post his lame lie here (which again does nothing to minimize the illegality of his actions) - Disgusting!

Don't be sheep letting him pull the wool over your eyes.  Report them twice for thinking you are foolish enough to believe his lie that he has a right to call you.

I received calls from this number some time ago and the male tried to get me to give him my ssn after I told him I was a cop and not interested in his product. Now they are calling and emailing again. Pretty bold we will see how bold after the fcc complain that I am filing.

If your phone number is ALREADY registered with the Federal Government's "Do Not Call Registry", then you should NOT be calling!!!

I just received a call from this number. My phone number has been on the federal do-not-call list for years. No one spoke and I finally hung up. I have never heard of warrantech and have no business relationship with it. But it's useless complaining to the FTC as it does NOTHING about violators.

Please stop calling!

Have called my home two days in a row. I am on the Federal Do Not Call list and I have had no prior business experience with Warrantech. What a pain!

I called this number on a weekend when I'm not charged for usage of my cell phone, and listened to their answering machine message. It's possible that I may have done business with "one of our many different partners," but I really do not appreciate their calling my cell phone at any time for any reason. If I could find which "partner" contracted with them to do "sales and renewals" or "satisfaction surveys" I would never again do business with that "partner" again! As far as I'm concerned, their attempts to call me are in violation of the do-not-call laws, and they should be permanently banned from doing any business!

What a bunch of cr*p!!! They continue to call me, trying to sell extended warranties. I have have screamed every time to CEASE CALLS! These guys are the biggest scam artists around. I ask for their mailing address to send a certified letter, but they hang up. I am on the www.donotcall.gov registration. Every three weeks they call. I am pissed off and report them every time. WARRANTECH are scum sucking worthless pigs!!! Thank God I document every call. Now preparing to file a complaint with the Minnesota Attorney General's Office. After the State's resolution I will file a lawsuit against WARRANTECH.

Just an FYI u can place a complaint to the National do not call list, also telemarketers are supposed to check the list once a month to ensure that they do not call anyone that is not  on that list.

Brett, once a customer is registered for the do not call list then they do not have to register with ur company, it is Warrantechs responsibility to go to the website register and check the list, please see below:

I finally got tired of them showing up on my caller ID two or three times a day so I called them back. They were calling on behalf of Buy.com and were trying to get me to renew a warranty on a digital camera I bought a couple years back.  I just told them no thanks and I have not heard back from them since. Pretty painless...
