Foreign accents asking for a homeowners policy to be faxed to 800-293-8158.  When i call the number the response is, "invalid digits."

It is an insurance center requesting insurance coverage information ona car loan

Insurance department for wells fargo requesting insurance information for an auto policy.

A man calling himself John, with a heavy accent, said he was with Bank of America and need information on a policy.  He could not verify the loan number or the property address.  When I wouldn't give him the information he requested, he abruptly hung up.

Posing as Wells Fargo Insurance Division

Female Heavy Accent said was from B of A asking about our insured and his policy.  Was suspicious bc she asked questions not normal to banks verifying policy info.  After asked abt other info on the policy not pertaining to the loan info I said i would no longer answer these questions.  They are highly uncommon and hung up.  I'd beware. not normal.

Our office opens at 9am. Pulled the VMs off my phone and had a hang up from this number at 8:43am. I also had a hang up from this number st 8:46 am yesterday. If they are really calling to verify insurance, why didn't they leave a message?
