Debt collector no message left

Calls like these will never stop, no matter what you do. What I chose to do is save these calls into my contacts list with DNA for a name. DNA stands for .....do not answer

So when they call I first look at who is calling and not answer. Whatever you do, you must let it ring to voice mail. If you stop it at anytime, they will know you picked it up. Plus do not use your name or voice in your out going message. Use something generic or not one at all. Or, get a new number.

If you do answer and it is them, just tell them they have a wrong number, then DNA them. It is your only defense.   Good luck

Called my cellphone, I answered, no one on the other line.

I added it to my cellphone's "blocked callers" list so their calls go straight to voice mail.

Received calls from this number and they could not explain who they were. Scammers!!!!

Bottom Feeder aka Debt Collector

Trying to collect a 15 year old debt. These people waste more money trying to collect than the value of the debt. I would pay the amount I owe only but since they now want 20x the amount.... sorry, not an idiot & refuse to talk with disrespectful people. Tey actually talking to a person rather than threatening them with the Sheriff.  I have a feeling the Sheriff in my county has better things to do than harass me over a cell phone bill from the 1930's. Not to mention, they are waaaay past the time to file in court against me.

Want them to stop calling

Debt Collectors:   Portfolio Recovery Associates  (Yes, they are bottom feeders.)

They call but don't leave a message, call several times. If they can't leave a message, then don't call.

They called at any time from Monday thru Sunday to my Cell number

Awh.. Portfolio Recovery slime. Now you're blocker ya mothers.

Send them a certified with signature requested cease and desist usps letter.  They will stop.   Too many have taken their [***] to court when then did not cease in the past.   That's all it took for me.   Be sure to tell them that it applies to them as well as any and all of their associates and or affiliates acting in their behalf.   Gosh,  I do hate them so much.

He stated my full name and advised he was calling from a recorded line

Wow, looks like this number sat on the shelf, but someone is using it now. They did not leave a message on my Google Voice number, so I don't know if it is still PRA or not. Anyways, GV didn't even ring it through, so I just get a quick email with the number they block for me. Yay, I love GV.

I called the number, and it is definitely Portfolio Recovery Associates. The person who helped me was very nice, and I can say for my one interaction with PRA, I will say they at least will help someone who is not the person named on the account. She removed the phone number from their system. And full disclosure, while I was on the call, I did recall that my GV number belonged to someone named "Ricardo" before I got it, and the first couple of years after getting the phone number, I was getting calls for him all time.

So in conclusion, I am not sure what tactics they use if you ARE the person they are looking for, but in my case, I got good, quick, service.

Punk [***] trying to collect nickels from sooo many years ago, calling from all kinds of different numbers under the sun.

Called and as usual did not leave a message. Probably once again calling for "Susan" who may have had this GV number before I got it.
