I called back and got the same recording. I noted the time and date. Next time I'll be suing.

- DamonBest thing to do is never answer a call from someone you do not know. These calls are robocalls. If you respond by pressing any number all you've done is confirm they have a valid phone number. Any legitimate party trying to reach you will leave a voice message. For those of you referring to the Do Not Call registry, that's almost never enforced and these people know this. It's a joke and don't waste your time dealing with it.
- MikeGot a call randomly. DId not answer. Best thing to do is not answer. As Damon suggested, if you answer and respond, it confirms that the line is currently active and results in them calling repeatedly. Never answer their calls and they will stop calling eventually
- VvnI got a call. Didn't answer. Looks like it's a good thing I didn't answer. Why are people still trying to scam people into buying insurance today???
