    Just got a call on my cell phone with a pre-recorded message for a carpet cleaning service.  The call only lasted ~42 seconds.

      Same as everyone else.  Carpet cleaning recording on my cell phone voicemail.  I've gotten these calls before (once at 3 am). Not only are they not allowed to call do not call numbers, they are also not allowed to use auto dialers.  This applies even if they are overseas.

      If you are on the do not call list MAKE SURE to go to do www.donotcall.gov and file a complaint.  Enough complaints and maybe these idiots will get a nice big fine.

    Received a call to my cell phone @ 12:18 p.m. today. No voicemail left. Have tried to call back to see who it was and all I get is a busy siginal. I too have a number that has been registered on the "Do Not Call" list over a year ago.

    11:21am missed call from this number/voicemail left. Call from a carpet cleaning pre-recorded service that said i was so kind to listen to the message the hallway would be cleaned for free. Said to push 1 to make an appointment and the message ended.  I am also registered on the "do not call" list.

    just got a call too...didn't pick it up...got a + sign before the number which i've never seen on my blackberry either. weird.

    if u get numbers like this and you call them back and it's an automated system wanting your last four digits of SSN or any other info...please DON'T punch it into your phone. you can't trust who's calling you.

    I got a call from 818-230-8506.  I pressed "1" so I could be connected to someone who would "make an appointment."  I asked them for the name of the company, and they said "carpet care." I asked them for their location.  They said they were a franchise and had stores all over the country. I asked them for their address, and they refused to give it to me, and then hung up.  When I called the number back, it was busy.

      These morons called my cell phone and left no message.   I've since then called said number several times and all I get is a busy signal.  Who the hell are these a**wipes?

      I'm going to take this matter much further and have an IP landline search and find out why they have my number and why they are harassing so many people.
