Won't stop calling... I've repeateldy given them the number for the person they're trying to reach, but apparently they're too dumb to understand that I should be cut out of their contacts by this point.

This lady or this company is fake!! I don't understand if you see my # is blocked and u called me a couple of days ago I wish this company would get a life.

Received a phone call from this number today.  They claim that I being Federally Investigated.  They left a name of Jill or JoAnne Scott and she's a federal investigator for William Scott & Associates.  If I didn't call them back by 2 p.m. today she would have the Sheriff's office issue a warrant.  I have no idea who or what this is about.  Wasn't there some kind of investigation being done on this company by the Attorney General's office?

This company called me at work today ...jennifer Scott...of Scott and associates...She messed with the wrong chick...I was at work and told by her that I would be walked out my job in handcuffs humiliated that she was sending it ti the local district attorneys office FBI agents are looking for me all and that I have to pay three thousand dollars by twelve noon and then it changed to two weeks ...I took her name and number and started my investigation...I called a sheriff friend of mine and he said right off it was a scam...I called the company I owe from five years ago! And they told me I owed 300 dollars not three thousand! I called the FBI after that...the agent I was spoke to as incredibly helpful...and said people use their name often...after that I called the collection agency originally assigned to my old debt and they gave me the number to william scott and associates. They also informed  me that many people were being contacted and complaining about this company..she said no legitimate company will threaten or harass you.. And must provide you with their address.....so i called this company back and the PBX
operator answered...she said there were several departments..ok um legal department..let me add I did confront Jennifer Scott and she couldn't answer my questions and talked over me...I guess I scared her cuz she hung up on me three times and started sentences with "you people" "call Jesus if you want" told somebody I was "crazy" and obviously forgot the conversion she alleged to have recorded...I was calm and couldn't get a word in...real professional..not! Anyways the gentleman I reached also sported a Georgia accent...he also threatened to hang up on me..brought up the Department of Justice..but couldn't provide me with his companys address or his contact with the DOJ..very SHADY.. I am contacting  the DOJ tomorrow and making them aware that this company is using their name fraudulently...I'm not letting this go...these people think they can break the law and get away with it...

total scam - they called and harassed me at work today too.  Ignore these people!

I received a horrible call from 818 237 3746 x 132 and was also given another number 817-665-0039 x 131 from William Scott & Associates. The man, Mr. Cunningham from the Federal Division had a pleasant and professional voice but when Jennifer Scott (of William Scott) got on the line, it was a whole other ball game. When I asked to clarify why she was calling/representing she told me to "Shut up and listen"! I was a little scared that I was talking to a real Federal Agent with some real authority issues but after subjecting myself to 15-20 minutes of abuse and time that I will never get back, I decided to click over to take a call from my friend. I also grabbed my lap top and typed up the 1st number and found these helpful posts. I can't remember what I had on yesterday and trying to figure out why someone is yelling at you and threatening to suspend your license and put you in jail over a debt that you don't have or remember and has also been inflated by 75%, is pure craziness! I hope they catch the woman responsible for this scam because that kind of tactic will make honest people who truly want to take care of their past debts, scared to talk to the real debt collectors who will obtain payment with respect and help you towards financial freedom and success.

They called me too with all this pay 1600 or you'll go to jail at 2:00pm. The man said his name was Larry Scott that he was a federal investigator, they verified my DL # and SS# and wanted a lot more info- I refused to give it to them. I asked again are you threatening to have me arrested because I am recording this conversation he said no they are going to file suit? Who is THEY? I hung up and then they called right back thanking for verifying my SS# etc.. I told her i was reporting them.anymore. Hopefully they catch these scammers soon. I want to report them to the District Attorneys office- They called from 919-323-3885 and then told me to call them back at 818-237-3746.

I just spoke to the original creditor and found out their computers were stolen so maybe this is how they got my info???

Good for you!!!!!!!!  I just received this call a few minutes ago -- 4/4/12 -- and realized that this is yet another scam caller.  My Caller ID showed their name as HAMSA.  I maintain a LIST of EVERY harassing call I receive and will be sending that list to the Attorney General soon!!!!!

These people called my husbands job todays and she said that she was a federal agent and gave a badge number and everything! She said if my husband did not give them 3600$ within 24 hours he was going to be arrested and when she called me she even called him a stupid *** to me on the phone!!!!!! Then her story was so messed up involving companies that did not even have anything to do with the "reason" she was calling! I looked on here and found this!!!! These people are awful and they are threatening us on numerous phone numbers! The number they gave us was 817-665-0039 ext 131. When I called back I got someone else and they said that there are no managers there and that they are "self-employeed". I have never heard of a self-employeed FBI agent that collects debts and has no boss at all!!!!! STUPID!!!!!

Jennifer Scott called us too and cussed at me!!!!! That is the exact senario that happened to us today!!!! I am so glad I founfd these postings!!!!! We are trying to clean up our stuff as well and this is the stuff that makes things hard and near impossible!!!!!

The same thing had happened with me too. This lady called me about a week ago telling me she was from the same company. This lady was REALLY rude with me and reading most of the comments she sounded just like Jennifer but she gave me a different name which she went by as "Owens"  She started getting really rude to me and said to me in a really smart way " Well if you don't give me the amount you owe in 2 hours we will have a warrant for your arrest out and 2 police officers would be waiting for me up at my job." That really scared me but I told her I wanted to talk to her boss. The lady calm on and this one was really nice and seemed professional. She asked me for my redit card number and of course I gave it to her because I was so scared of getting arrested. Since all this happened they took out 330 dollars already and I canceled my credit card once I looked up there name and found out they were scammers. Sadly they got the 330 out before I could do anything and the 200 dollars are still pending. This caused me to where I couldn't buy my wedding cake or pay the photographer for my wedding. I have been so stressed out.


ALL I AM GOING TO SAY IS IF ANY OF YOU HAVE A BRAIN LISTEN TO THESE COMMENTS!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!!!


The very rude lady called me today and told me I need to call her as soon as possible.  Now she wants 265. I have a new credit card number and the next time he calls I will give her a piece of my mind,

I am being harrassed by these same people.  A $300.00 bill and they want $857.00.  They have called me from Tucson, Arizonia and Burbank, CA..  FUNNY, thing is it is the same person.  Go figure.   I tried to explain to her that I had had a stroke but she said they have a special place in jail for people with disabilities.  Anyway, let us know if you find out anything else or if you got it resolved.  Thanks

William Scott & Associates called me and told me I had a debt for $1,123.69 and I told them to go to hell.  I never recieved a call from a Jennifer Scott. I’ve worked with William Scott & Associates for 2 years paying off my debt from a cash advance loan. At first I thought it was fraud because they were telling me that I could go to jail, but after speaking with my attorney I realized it was true!! I am so grateful that I was able to work out some arrangements with settling my debt with Williams, Scott & Associates.

I just recieved a call as well; He sounded very professional, but I informed him I was aware that He as well as anyone he would put on phone were crooks...before he could say anything I hung up but not before telling him; he was full of quote " I don't use that kind of language but you know what you'll full of"...than CLICK....
