Calling BS and a scam to get personal. Don't call back - part of "reverse" scam. BLOCK this number on your cell.

Called my cell twice, didn't leave a message. Blocked them.

They called my cell phone last night (9:43pm).   No message was left and I certainly did not call them back.  Added the number to my reject list.

CALLING ME EVERY DAY

They say that they are Sunset Getaways based in Encino, but they are not.  The phone number when you call them back says that you can't connect because the number is not working.

This is a scammer asking me if I wanted to join a dating site for people who can't get dates in the Catholic Church.  He felt bad for me and offered me a vacation for 3 nights and 4 days instead.  What a nice man! Maybe girls will like me now instead of calling me a looser!

Received a call that displayed as M212212907000129 which of course isn't a real number, I answered it and it was a guy yelling HELLO over and over again with a lot of people talking in the background. Boiler room most likely.

I called back the number on my caller ID and it then displayed as 818-258-8307 and I got a message that the number was not in service and then the recorded voice says the letters S P O K.

Very strange.

Exactly the same. Asian lady, NOT Indian or Pakistani says "Hello" about 6 times before finally saying she is with Sunset Getaways. Which is OBVIOUS bull shark. I blocked, but notice it's a late evening call. 8:25pm. I think this is a ring of So Cal scammers, possibly being run through foreign country. The Do Not Call list from the government is just B.S.. They don't do sh**. No enforcement of DNC list whatsoever. BTW, if you C/B  it won't go through.

Called me too at 8:12pm and didn't leave a message.  I called back and said that the number I tried to call was no longer is service.  My guess, they're using some form of website that generates number to call people and scam them.  Don't answer their call.

Oh yes they do. Spoofed numbers take time to track down. And a lot of the calls coming from foreign country's - we can do nothing about unless their governments co-operate.

Put the blame where it really lay's, with the criminals and illegal telemarketers.
The DNC works just fine. It is for telemarketers only and honest business does indeed abide by it. It is the criminals (which includes illegal telemarketers), frauds and scammers that do not. However, the Fed. DNC does not cover some survey's, Political or Charities.  You would need to check your states DNC laws to see if these are under your states DNC laws.  The fact remains that they are not automatic call blockers though and can not protect you from the calls that are criminal, illegal or fraudulent.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone..  You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Answered a call from this number on my cell tonight during dinner. No idea what the turd was babbling. Sounded like one of the typical scammers from india. Just yelled “Wrong number” into the phone and hung up. Unfortunately they now know they have a valid number.

They called me at 8 pm, which is pretty late for random calls if yyou ask me. The first woman said she was calling from Sunset Vacations, I said I was not interested then she transferred me to her supervisor who called it sunset getaways. That is already a red flag, aside from the fact that it sounded like the biggest scam as soon as she said hello. lol Bock these people.
