Called; ID said "cell phone CA"; no message.

Just got this one today on my Trac-Fone. They started their schpeel before I even answered the phone so I didn't know who it was. I pressed 8 to be taken off the list and then put them on my reject number list on my phone. Jerks - I hate idiots who pull this crud.

According to 411.com's reverse phone number look-up, (818) 296-5051 is an "unpublished" landline in Glendale, CA. I did not answer when they called today, and no message was left. Thanks for the tip on pressing 8.

did not know the number and I did not answer.  They went to my voice message and hung up after 2 seconds.  This is crap.  I am on the do not call list, and they keep calling.

Got a call from this number (Glendale, CA) so I answered - something about account services and interest rates. was told to press 9 for more info or 8 to opt out. I pressed 9. Woman answered and I asked which company this was and she said "account services" and asked if I wanted to lower my interest rates and she just needed to get some information from me. I said "account services for what company?" she said that they deal with different major card companies for any Visa cards or Mastercards.She got a bit of an attitude with me. I asked if I could get a number to call them back and she hung up on me.

Received call 4/7/10 " Out of State" when I picked up a recording then a voice the "Lady ?"on the other end called me ignorant when I said I did not even listen to the message then when I said why are you calling a DO NOT CALL number she said they are registed with FCC and could call any one they want.

I am giving this number to the FCC but they will not do anything about it but feel better.

I received a called from this no. The caller ID showed a wireless caller. No msg. was left when I did not answer.

Received call from this # at 9:50 am ET so they must be a 24 hour operation. Did not answer and this time there was no message. I did call return and got the message "this subscriber cannot receive messages at this time".

They call all hours (between 9AM and 10PM Eastern, for sure).  I haver let them go to voicemail, but my wife actually picked-up once.  Finally this morning, I hit "8" ... let's see if this works (although I highly doubt it - thhey've been calling for months).  Federal/FCC "Do Not Call" list is the biggest joke ever!

Got a hang up from these freaks. They can go and pound sand with this nonsense. Tried calling them back to tell them where to go, but no joy as they can't accept messages on this line. I hope the owner of this company meets with a terrible accident.

Please stop calling.  I am on the do not call registry.

I am recieving hang ups from them and have also recently experienced a problem with fraudulent charges on my card. I don't know who or how this happened, but something is fishy.

obvious scam.  Sat there and listened to the entire message but did not press any keys when directed since doing so would let them know they reached a live person.  And, lets be honest, pressing 8 is not going to take you off the call list of a scammer.
Their phone number is easily tracked so I am sure it is a relay.  I will notify the AG in california and let them take it from here.  Since they will only act on problem cases, I recommend everyone report it.  that will get these guys shut down quicker.

Just received a call.

I pIcked up by mistake.  I saw Cell Phone, but not the CA and the 818-296-5051 before picking up.  This company is wanting to give me lower credit card interest rates.  They are not connected with any of my credit card providers and I'll bet they don't even know the type of credit card(s) that I have.

I am on the Natiional Do Not Call Registry and I filed a complaint.

Just received a call from this number.  Did not answer and do not plan to answer if they call again.  I never answer if I don't recognize the number.  I agree with jimmy twofish - if they don't get an answer and you don't press any keys, they will think the numbr is invalid.

Received this call.  I picked up the phone and they began talking before I got the phone to my ear.  I missed the company's name if they ever gave it.  Wanted me to call to reduce credit card fees and rates.  Just hung up without pressing any number.
