Am on the east coast. Got a call at 7:50 am on Sunday morning. Caller ID said ITSOL. This is a west coast software firm. Call must have been made at 4:50 am. Is some computer geek there looking for early morning phone sex? Give me a break please. It is the weekend.

I filled out an online insurance quote and about 2 seconds after I hit the get quote now button I receive a phone call that only last 1 second and then ends... hmmmm... bizarre way of doing business whomever it is.

Same thing happend to me fill out the insurance quote stuff then a stupid waste of my time phone call.

Same thing: insurance quote. They could be testing whether tel number exists before processing the quote. It was 8:15 in the morning, and nobody answered

Same thing JUST happened to me. Filled out the insurance quote and 20 seconds later my cell rang with this number and then hung up on me. When I tried to call back it hung up on me again!

Got a call from 818-299-9144 after filling out an insurance quote and they hung up after 1 or two rings.  Is there someone trying to be a jerk and just try to scare me?

Texas- I just filled a quote on-line for Home insurnace and received a call back shortly with no message left.  Wow what jerks !

Yes, same thing here in Oregon. Filled out for a homeowners quote but did NOT list my phone number on it. Used the 555-1212 (information number) which it would NOT accept so I just x'd out. But I got the one ringer call, too. Entered this number into google and ended up here.
So, they have some kind of a connection to obtain our phone number. I did not want my number on there as I did not want a ton of agents calling me...they can give a quote online. Period.
Should be able to file a complaint somewhere on this. Invasion of privacy.

Same 818 299-9144 called four times in three hours, first call came in few seconds after pressing quote now, the e-insurance is for health insurance from Texas, I hoped they're watching, I told everyone that called to give quote to check this practice, and will not do business with them, and possible complaint to Department of Insurance.

Got same 818-299-9144 call about 5 minutes ago. Funny thing - I didn't fill out any insurance quote info.

Me, too.  I've gotten 5 different calls today about insurance quotes that I NEVER filled out.  The last one was from 818-299-9144.  They know my name, address and work phone number but I've never been to an insurance website.

what is up with this who is calling and costing me money, needs to be taken care of.

same thing.  i think the computer is verifying phone number for it to be dialing that soon.  probably build into the application coding.  if it weren't a nuisance, it would be a cool application.

someone called but didn't leave a message- we filled out something on mymoneycolor.com for school and my jerk of a friend put my actual phone number...

Yup same thing just now...insurance...Number license is listed as a land line in North Hollywood through Teleport Communications (not the company calling just phone company that owns original number)...

Same thing here, online auto quote and a few minutes later a hang up call from 818-299-9144 ITSOL.  This is wrong!

ITSOL call and 1 minute later, a happy phone solicitor from "health benefits direct" called.

I filled out an auto insurance quote at about 8am this number calls, I didn't answer it but when I tried to call back it picks up & hangs up.

Filled out homeowners form.  Received call within seconds.  Hung up...
