Keep calling its a foreign person.  I called and they were saying i owe them 4000 and pay now or govt. will come and get me? who is this? its says a landline when look it up.

A foreigner named William Lee called and said he was from the Department of Affairs. The call is very time consuming. If you don't call back soon you or your attorney he wishes you good luck.

I recieved the same thing and when I called they told me the same thing.

a "alex watson" called my boyfriend and demanded money or said they would have him arrested on job site.....then said he could make a payment with a wal mart card for his payment....when i called and said the words FBI i was hung up on....SCAM SCAM SCAM

They threatened me with "a sheriff coming to arrest me..."  Isn't there a law against this?  They called my work and then then called my cell number.......

Oh, yes. But scammers don't even pretend to know the law--let alone abide by it.

I received the same call at my work.  Threatening to having me arrested and I owe them money.

Heavy Foreign accent. Left a message at my work number stating they needed to speak to me immediately or my attorney, if I did not call then they wish me good luck as the situation unfolds?

I just recieved a call today at 919 am from a "alex Watson" telling me that the police will come to my job with a subepeona and arrest me for fraud  ,If I want this matter handled I show got the nearest cvs and purchase 2 greendot prepaid creditcards to settle this debt. or if not i will be arrestred.is this legal.

Same thing happened to me today and they called my work number also. Saying that I have a warrant and I need to speak to my attorney named william. They dumb I aint do anything so I know there wasnt any charges brought against me. And he also had a strong foreihn accent. SMH pitiful I tell you pitiful....

They called me today and answerd "Attorneys Office"  when I asked whose office it was he said there is a lawsuit filed against me and the sherrifs office is coming to arrest me because of a payday loan.  I've never even had a payday loan!!  What should I do????

I have been dealing with is AH.s since 2003 and owe nothing to a payday loan.... all the same line and always someone with an India voice with an American  name like John Wayne or something! Always that I will be arrested . never will offer proof who or what I owe. This is not with the law of the USA passed onto the books back in the 70's!
These guys are felons committing a Felon ! Lies and Cheats !
I find this kind of thing like someone holding a gun to your head and demanding all your money !  get a BIG air horn and blast there ear drums out... the calls will stop if it happens often ! or just change your phone numbers.... you will NEVER see a letter from these guys because then they have passed over into mail fraud , BIG TIME PRISON time!

I recieved the same message from a Michael Louise saying the Sheriff was coming to my job to arrest me, serve 6mos. in jail, and put a freeze on my bank account, and a lein on my driving liecences and social security number. 123wages.com

Caller advised that I or my attorney should call back and not to ignore this call. No company name was mentioned but I was to call the above number and ask for Michael Johnson. If I chose to ignore the call he wish me or my attorney the best luck. I did call the number provided and the response was automated that the "mailbox" was full and the line disconnected.

Received another phone call, (once from FL and this time from CA) from someone claiming to be a lawyer claiming a pending lawsuit against me.

I felt threatened  and also fear for the lives of my wife and daughter.

I received the exact same call from a William Lee at my work stating that I was going to be arrested a work the next day.

i got a phone call from a person who i could not understand, saying that he needed my attorneys name, and that i had a warrent for my areest because i took out a pay day loan online, i informed this person that i got alot of calls from online loans but i never took one out.  He told me that i would be arrested at 11 am the next day and that i would be charged for this crime of not paying back the money.  He also said that he my email address, and ssn was given in this loan matter.  I told him again which i could not understand him to begin with that i never took out a loan, and that i needed to know how much the laon was for and what bank they sent it too.  He could not give me the info he told me that i needed to talk to a Micheal Carter, so i called back to the number and the lady said he was in court and i told her i needed to talk to him asap or if i could leave a message she said just wait until you get arrested on friday then you can talk to him then, i could not sleep all night worrying about this then i went online to the number and found the scam i  hope.  i called back in the morning and informed the women that i needed to talk to micheal carter which was 6 am and she said he was in court and i said theres no court houses opened this early and she told me i was stupid and hung up. i hope they catch these ppl because they sure know how to put the scare into ppl

I got a call from this number from Mark Wilson who said I or my attorney needed to call back immediately and if not was wished good luck. A message was left on my cell phone number and my work phone. I called back once I got to work and talked to an Attorney named Alex Watson. He insisted that if I didn't pay up in the next half hour I would be arrested the next day at work by the Kansas State Police. When I asked what this was regarding, Mr. Watson said it was for an internet loan that had not been repaid. When I asked for what company he told me Cash Advance was the parent company and they have 40 different affiliates. He would not provide any other information, just kept insisting that I pay or go to jail. After about 15 minutes of going back and forth, I told him to come on. We can get this straightened out once the Kansas State Police showed up. I hung up the phone and he called back immediately and asked for my supervisor and if I didn't transfer him he would keep harassing me at my work number. He called back three times in a row and I let it go to voice mail each time. He never left a message and didn't call back the rest of the day.

After looking the name and phone number up online, I found this site with people who have run into the same thing.....a scam!

An Alex Wilson called me to telling me I'm gonna be arrested tomorrow. When I asked him what company I supposedly took out this 'loan' and for phone number, he then said I was harassing him. Wow what a scam!!
