The caller left a message. Identified himself as Michael from the offices of Kane and Wyner (spelling?). He requested a call back to 818 251-1734. A Google search of the number and name of the law office was unsuccessful. I don't return mysterious calls. If anyone finds out more about this outfit maybe you could leave a note here.

I got a call from them too. I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message.

Hi.  It's a collection agency.  It's Caine&Weiner.  It must be a bill of oyurs they have, like from school or something.  I know because I have one.  Hoped I helped.

Jerk! Called our office and asked for an employee.  When told that employee wasn't in at the moment they hung up.  How rude!  Can't even say thank you, I'll try later?

Left my # for them to call back.  No response.

Called another family member left message with a phone number. I do not return calls to unknown. Called once and had to leave message, a Christine calls other family members, my cell and unpublished number asking for a return call. No reason............

Person called and asked for a name I didn't recognize. I told him it was a wrong number, and he said, "No, it isn't. I know what you did, leaving me a big long message, you and your husband are in big trouble." I thought it was a practical joke from someone I knew, so I laughed. He said, "You think this is funny? I'm going to get the authorities involved." He wouldn't tell me who it was. I laughed again when he said he'd get the "marshalls" involved. He said, "You think this if funny? Do you want to see funny?" I said yes, then he hung up.

This company is going about business the wrong way, they try and make you angry and then hang up.  Why call if you don't want to get the bottom of things.  Also they call over and over you answer and they hang up.  How rude.  I think This company should be looked at, becaues they are wasting people time and sleep.

how creepy! I guess Caine & Weiner called me today and left a message saying it was Shawna and to call them back at this number, (818) 257-1788, so i called it and some guy answered all angry saying it was the wrong number. it wsas kinda weird. it pretty weird, idk how they got my number. im like...15. lol. its kinda scaryyyy.

got a call from this number 818347 2700 saying taht they were LA Times and wanted me ti pay my outstanding balance of $ 13.90 on the phone. I declined to give my cc number and she got mad saying that your acc will be deliquent if i do not pay. They had my info on my subscription rate andf balance outstanding but gave me the wrong subscription plan when I tried to cross check,I got suspictous and started questioning her and she got mad  and hung up.

i got a call and they left a message saying it was Anita and to call back at 818-251-1764 and my file number was 349232..they knew my name so idk! didnt say who they were or wat company so...................

I have had many calls from a Paul and also letters from him and one of his so called attorneys. They are trying to collect on an outstanding bill of mine, that is under 3000.00, but have added onto that an additonal 5k+, for what I don't know. They can go pound sand, as the outstanding bill with the company they represent is bogus, and they have contridicted themselves in their correspondence to me. I believe they are just another collection agency, trying to pass themselves off as a legal intity and using strong arm tactics to get paid on a loss they purchased from the company I was doing business with, after they could not convince me to pay their bogus bill. Tough luck for them I say!

I got the same phone call today. Telling me I am in big trouble. I told him my business is every slow and I am not getting calls for to do notary jobs. And he did not what to hear it. I become a notary public to help me with my disability check I get once a month.   818-347-2700 Weiner Caine

Just got a call from them myself. Have no clue why. I'm only 17. No credit card. Nothing. Only thing I can think of is that maybe I'm a victim of some sort of identity theft?

He called said he was on long distance and needed to talk to Tim our CFO. I asked what company he was from again, He got rude so I hung up...He called back lmao and tried to tell me that "You dont hang up on me ,that he is the one that...I hung up...I imagine he was trying to say he was going to hang up on me...lmao he sounded pissed

I received a call like this and spoke with Linda, she said that she was calling because there may be a deliquent bill which further action may be taken on if payment arrangements are not made.  Since this is a firm they may be able to go to court and garnish wages, which employers do not take kindly to.  I recently received another call and asked why they keep calling me, they did not answer me right away so I just hung up.  

By doing a little bit of research this firm handles deliquent bills from DWP, Gas Co., Edison Co., etc. since these are government entities...you know the government, they will get their money.

I got a call from them telling me I owe LA Times for $13.xx, I told him I didnt order anuthing from LA Times. I dont know whats going on and he kept telling me he will send me to bad debt... whats goin on? HELP!!
