Company rep Sam Choi stated that Countrywide, her current loan company, referred her to them. He and supervisor David Eli called the consumer almost 4 times a day trying to obtain her business. They promised her a Fanny Mae 30 year loan at 4% fixed interest. She provided info trusting that Countrywide referred the company. However, because she watches the news she became aware that loans at the lowest are being offered at 5.6%. She called and found Countrywide did not refer them. After receiving loan docs she found that the loan was for 7.95% interest, 3yrs fixed and remaining adjustable and not a Fanny Mae Loan. She contacted the company and requested that the loan be withdrawn. The rep asked why she explained, they questioned who told her all this. She feels the reps might have been trying to take advantage of her since she is elderly, has MS, and has extremely bad vision. They continually call trying to pressure her into continuing the loan. Each time she request withdrawal and request a letter stating they withdrew her information from their system, they refuse. She was also told that they were going to help her get her credit up, now that she wants to withdraw it they were going to do the opposite.
