Received a call from First Financial. Was hesitant at first, looked them up and found this website, decided to go to their office. I was plesantly surprised. They closed my loan and I would highly recommend them. No one else could help me.

This number belongs to some type of loan office that said they were a Countrywide lender.  Upon further review they are a mortgage broker acting like Countrywide trying to sell you a new loan.  my number is on the Do not call list.  I told this to the caller and they hung up on me.

My Mom just got burned by these guys on her new loan.  They told her one thing and she got another.  The loan rep said he would adjust the points down on her loan and it never happened. She was also supposed to get her apprisal funds back in the form of a refund and it never happened.  I did an internet search on their company and found this web site and the rip off report info.  This company is a RIP OFF!

Company rep Sam Choi stated that Countrywide, her current loan company, referred her to them. He and supervisor David Eli called the consumer almost 4 times a day trying to obtain her business. They promised her a Fanny Mae 30 year loan at 4% fixed interest. She provided info trusting that Countrywide referred the company. However, because she watches the news she became aware that loans at the lowest are being offered at 5.6%. She called and found Countrywide did not refer them. After receiving loan docs she found that the loan was for 7.95% interest, 3yrs fixed and remaining adjustable and not a Fanny Mae Loan. She contacted the company and requested that the loan be withdrawn. The rep asked why she explained, they questioned who told her all this. She feels the reps might have been trying to take advantage of her since she is elderly, has MS, and has extremely bad vision. They continually call trying to pressure her into continuing the loan. Each time she request withdrawal and request a letter stating they withdrew her information from their system, they refuse. She was also told that they were going to help her get her credit up, now that she wants to withdraw it they were going to do the opposite.

similar story to what others have stated.  i got a call from someone called "mo raven" (sp?).  he called me out of the blue claiming to have gotten my file from countrywide (the loan on the property they were offering to refi is not with countrywide; though i have another property with countrywide).  offered me what seemed to be a couple different very attractive loan products.  based on my web search and what i've found here on this page, i plan to stay away.

Good decision to stay away Rahul.   I went through a refinance with that Mo Raven guy and ended up walking away after the fees and program changed.  He said that my file came over from Countyrwide as well and knew my fico score that Countrywode pulled when he called?

These people are First Financial Group.  I know nothing of their loan practices but do know that they called me everyday until I got ahold of one of the partners, Arash Khairi, and informed him I've been on the Do Not Call list since July of 2003.  Told him that for the last three calls (which were still on my called ID) I would report him to the FCC.  Supposedly his company will be fined 25K for each call?  In any case, to stop these people you must report the calls to the FCC.  Go to their website of call 1-888-225-5322.  If we all do it, these people will eventually follow the law.  BTW, First Financial is at 21600 Oxnard St. Woodland Hills, CA 91367.  The calls from them stopped, but only after I talked to Arash.
