- Karen Alvarez replies to XI just got scammed by David Wright with Nationwide Financing as they are now called. I just cancelled my credit card and will dispute the $350.00 I have been charged 2.5 weeks ago. David Wright gave me his cell number before I signed on because we started to talk about California and that I needed help in finding a realtor for my son who was moving there in October. He actually gave me his cell number for my son to call him. So here it is 1-818-749-6149 and his office number is 1-818-444-7315 x8022.
I hope this helps.

- Karen AlvarezWatch out for David Wright. He is the master of scam and bullsh-t. Anyway some how I got his cell number if the Feds need it to stop this scam.
It is 1-818-749-6149. Anyway I called him on a Saturday so mad about the bad leads I was getting and that no one was returning my call from the office. I found him sleeping and oblivious to my call, but then he pulled it together and said he would call me Monday to help get my account on track. I never did get that call. WATCH OUT AND DO NOT BE SCAMMED BY HIM OR HIS TEAM. CHECK OUT ACTIVERAIN.COM BLOGS ABOUT THIS SCAM. - Kristin replies to LRCLike you, I didn't check them out, now I'm having trouble convincing my credit card company that they should not allow Moneytree Funding, aka Nationwide Financing to bill my account. It's a nightmare. Even though I cancelled the contract within 48 hours and never received a single legitimate lead, I was still charged $350. I am submitting a formal complaint to the Office of the Attorney General in California. Why do you suppose it is taking so long to shut them down? Kristin
- GM replies to Karen AlvarezThanks for your recent post. After reading your post, and numerous other posts, including a rating of "F" by the Better Business Bureau, I've decided not to partner with Nationwide Financing. I understand how sometimes negative feedback can work against a good company, and understand David Wright's position (I told him about the negative feedback). But I just can't take the chance... my dollars will be better spent advertising in my local area and promoting my real estate business. Thanks again!
- GM replies to realtorazI just got off the phone with the NAR, asking them about Nationwide Financing. They stated they had never heard of the company. They cautioned to investigate such offers throughly before providing money for leads. Investigating Nationwide Financing provided some positive experiences from clients; however, the negative feedback from various sources outweights the positive for me.
- Bonnie SmithI got a call from "Frankie" a few months ago, and continue to get e-mails.
This is the latest e-mail they've sent me, (copied and pasted):

I responded last year to "Bob, your friendly agent", (when they were "Money Tree Funding"), and paid $350 for 10 leads that were supposed to have good credit, and ready to buy. In reality, these leads had poor credit, and I was unable to make contact with any of them. I got replacement leads with worse credit. I was unable to get my money back.- Caller: Money Tree Funding

- Sue Pantages replies to LRCI am a Broker in Portland, Or. They scammed me too. I have dealt with reputable lead companies and never checked these guys out. When all the leads turned out to be frauds, I contacted my credit card company. They had to issue me a new card. I am now in the process of working with their fraud department to get my money back. Wish I wold have looked on-line first. These folks have a terrible reputation.
- Sue PanagesAngelo from Nationwide Financing said they were owned by Money Tree.
He told me these buyers were approved for loans, had excellent credit and would be buying in 90-120 days. He claimed they were waiting to hear from a Realtor. When I signed the contract and started calling the leads they were all bogus. The names and numbers did not match and the folks had never applied for a loan or for pre-approval. One was even a Realtor in my city who had never heard of them.
They replaced my leads with new bogus leads. I called them all to no avail. Since I notified these folks within 3 banking days that I was cancelling, no other lead replacements were forthcoming.
Someone should stop these folks. My credit card company(the fraud department) is working on getting my money back.- Caller: Nationwide Financing
- MidAmerica replies to LRC| 1 replyHello LRC
I read your post on 800Notes dated 12 March 08 regarding Money Tree Lending.
I gave Money Tree verbal permission to charge my credit card once so I could do a one time test (I am an Insurance Agent) of their “leads.” The “leads” were unacceptable and when I voiced concern with/to my Sales Rep Doug Snyder he told me not to worry because they would make it up by sending me more leads.
You can see what is coming:
1) they are continuing to charge my credit card
2) I have faxed them that I am not interested in their “leads”
3) They continue to email me “leads”
4) I talked to their Customer Service and they tell me that their fulfilling my order.
I keep going around and around with my credit card company.
If you have any information on Money Tree and advice I would appreciate it.
Thank you,
MidAmerica

PS I am interested in filing a complaint with the state of Calif. and also with the Federal Trade Commission. I am not sure how to go about it. - Frank replies to MidAmericaI think these guys are the same as Nationwide Financing. they are a total rip-off and engage in the same behaviors as listed here. Run away like crazy. They give you garbagge and they steal your money. Simple as that.
- Mr. Chris Emmanuel replies to XDear Friend,
My name is Mr. Chris Emmanuel,an account officer to Late Mr. John David,a national of your country, an expert consultant with Nigerian Nation Petroleum Cooperation (NNPC) here in Nigeria, who died Four years ago leaving no Will or Authorizing for Re-transfer of his deposit and its proceeds to the Inheritor.
I have personally carried out an investigation on the subject matter that took me 12 Months to finalize and was made to understand that the family or relatives of late deceased knows nothing about his deposit in our bank, there by creating an avenue for claiming of the said funds with its accrued interest on presentation of a trustworthy person that can stand as the next of kin to the deceased. After my written notification about the death of the deceased to the bank they have issued me a notice to provide the next of kin or have the funds confiscated within the next 6 weeks.
According to Nigerian Law, at the expiration of 5 (Five) years, the money will revert to the ownership of the Nigerian Government if nobody applies to claim the fund. Consequently, my proposal is that I will like you as a Foreigner to stand in as next of kin to the deceased
I found your profile very interesting and decided to reach you directly to solicit your assistance in making this claims of USD$60Million Dollars Only.
With your sincere assistance and co-operation, be so kind to contact me in your earlier convenience. I am determining to work this deal out if we can agree to work together.
Please reply to my private email: mrchrisemmanuel@accountant.com
Waiting to hear from you.
Best Regards,
Mr. Chris Emmanuel.
